Chpt 24

Calum didn't say anything back but continued to keep his eyes laced on the road. While Ashton began mumble things into my hair, causing his curls to tickle my forehead even more. I couldn't help but to let out a small giggle. This time Calum's head turned rather quickly looking at us with envy before turning to glue his eyes back to the road ahead.

The car came to an holt as I realized we had reached Ashton's place.

"Ash, come on your at home" I nudged him causing his head to pop up revealing his blood shot eyes as if he had poured alcohol down his sockets instead of his throat.

I carefully assisted him out the car, his arm gripping my waist and mine around his or at least trying to get it around him.

As we climbed up the steps to the door a shirtless Luke appeared at the door not looking anywhere near the way Ashton did.

"So he did get drunk?" Luke tiredly laughed. Ashton put up a thumbs up before pulling me close to him again. Not only could I feel Lukes eyes on us but I could feel an all too familiar pair a chocolate orbs blazing through me.

I tried to ignore it as I pricked Ashton's arm off of me causing a small frown to form on his face.

"Ok Ashton I have to go but-"

"Your freaking gorgeous Tessa" Ashton blurted out smiling causing my cheeks to heat up a bit and Luke to let out a laugh.

"Thank you Ash, but I have to go. I'll talk to you tomorrow" I waved as I was stepping down the steps.

I watched as Ashton waved before turning to face the car door prying it open.

"Bye Tessa"

The ride home was silent. And it wasn't a comfortable silence. It was far from that.

Calum's eyes stayed on the road as his hands gripped the wheel tightly causing his arm muscles to protrude. Even though it was clear he was mad, I couldn't help but to find it some what attractive.

After moments of a full debate with my consensus, I reached out and gently touched his arm. He tensed up for a second before loosing his grip on the wheel and relaxing a bit.

"What was that for?" Calum asked even though it was clear why I had done it.

"You need to relax and not try to kill us on the road" I joked, trying to lighten the mood only to see Calum roll his eyes.

I didn't Take us as long to reach the house as I thought it would. Once we pulled up I saw a A flash or relief once we reached the house. Relief from what? Ashton?

Calum walked in front of me rather fast, opening the door before sighing. I didn't even bother to ask why he was acting so weird. I just left it be. Anyone would If they were dealing with someone like Calum Hood.

He slumped down on the couch and grabbed the remote, it was a routine he had become accustomed to. He would ignore me once we got home then if I ever had to do something BE glued to my side.

I watched as he flipped through the channels until he stumbled upon Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Coming onto the scene where Will was trying to sneak uncle Phil some food since the family had put him on a diet.
