Levi's P.O.V

Let's just say I didn't live a normal life, in fact no one in this small town did. Nothing was normal in this town anymore. Because every full moon people would lock them selves inside their homes and hide, hopping to not be dragged into the misty night. No one knows what happens to the missing people. But we do know that they will never be seen again. And today just happened to be a full moon.

But who cares, they can't touch us if we stay inside, so I don't see why people are so afraid. If they got dragged away it was their own fault for being outside at night on a full moon. I looked around my classroom watching the other students begin to panic and whisper about who's gonna get dragged off tonight. 'Tsk pathetic, they should be more worried about the damn test we have tomorrow'.

"Hey Levi, who do you think will be taken tonight?" Hanji slams her hands down on my desk with an excited expression on her face, making me 'Tsk'.

"Not you too shitty glasses. Shouldn't you be more worried about the history test we have tomorrow, than who's getting taken." I roll my eyes and continue to work on the work sheet that was handed out.

"Trust you to say that. Your the only one here who isn't scared of the beast and blame the people for being taken."

"Well if they didn't want to get taken then they should stay inside!" She just huffs in annoyance and turns to Erwin.

"What 'bout you Erwin, who do you think will get taken."

"Maybe Mrs Cooper from down the street, she's getting forgetful and loves midnight walks."

"That old hag down the block from your house! I doubt it. Shes too old, they probably won't take her cause she's a bag of bones and she won't even taste nice I bet."

"How can you say that about the sweet old lady." He frowns his big fuzzy bushy brows at me.

"Cause she's a crazed cat lady who probably shits where she stands."

"Levi!!" Erwin shouts while Hanji laughs loudly.

"Erwin, no shouting in my class." Our teacher butts in. Talk about party killer.

"Yes ma'ma." He says softly looking down as if he was ashamed.

"Your such a teachers pet." I say

"Am not!"

"Erwin, he's right, your defently a teachers pet." Hanji says while trying to keep her giggles under control. Her thick glasses almost falling off her face.

"Oh shut it." He says before getting back to his work. I follow suit while Hanji makes a paper airplane out of her work sheet.

School was finally over and students rushed home to safety. I too started to make my way home but before I could even get off school grounds, I was stopped by my friends.

"What?" I asked annoyed, just wanting to get home.

"Stay safe." Hanji didn't have her normal goofy look but a dead serious one. I roll my eyes at her words.

"Don't I always." I say calmly.

"Promise us Levi." Erwin says with the same look Hanji held on her face. Again I rolled my eyes at them.

"Fine, I promise, can I go home now." A little bit of annoyance leaking through my words.

"Thank you Levi, bye bye." Hanji says with a 'bye' followed by from Erwin. I may not say it or think it a lot, but I was lucky to have friends like them.
