The Lost Little Angel.

Chapter 6.

Raven P.O.V.

I sat on a bench surrounded by shopping bags , waiting for Julie and Zander to come out of a shop , I glanced around looking at the people around me , I sighed and got the sense that someone was watching me I looked around nervous and saw a young man looking at me then he looked away, his hair blonde and short , spiked up with hair gel , his eyes a sky blue colour , he wore a blue hoodie with denim jeans and black converse , his hands were placed in his jean pockets as he causally lent up against the wall outside one for the shops. I frowned I felt like I had met him before which was strange to me.

" Layla ?" I heard someone say , I turned to see Zander and Julie walking towards me , I frowned feeling confused then I got the sense of someone watching me again.

" You okay ? You look a bit odd." Julie said frowning at me.

" I'm fine." I mumbled as I turned to look at the guy again.

" Layla ?" I heard Zander say as I looked up at him

" Something wrong ?" He asked frowning.

" Erm.....no..." I said as I looked at my bags. " Could you look after these for a second..... I just have to....." I didn't finished my sentence as I got up quickly and walked in the direction of the young man.

"Excuse me sir " I said as I neared him then he looked at me frowning.

" Can I help you ?" He asked still frowning.

" Erm.....I feel like I know you but I don't think we have met before." I mumbled feeling stupid now for walking up to a complete stranger.

" Erm......well I don't think I have seen you before but I know what you mean......I feel it too." He said then I watched his face soften slightly as he smiled slightly.

" I guess I'm just going mad." I laughed embarrassed

" Maybe." He said.

I looked at him then feeling slightly offended then he smiled.

" Anyway......I'm gonna go now...." He said " I'm Alex by the way.....maybe we will see each other again sometime.

" Layla." I replied smiling then feeling freaked out when I watched him walk away.

What did he mean by "Maybe we will see each other again sometime."

" Layla !?!" I heard someone shout as I realized I was just staring into space , I turned to see Zander and Julie staring at me , Zander looking annoyed and worried, I slowly walked up to them , wrapping my arms around my waist.

" Who was that ?" Zander asked looking at me as I shrugged.

" I want to go home." I whispered looking at the ground.

" Okay." Zander said as he picked up the bags, I reached out for mine but he shuck his head and gestured for me to lead the way. I was silent as I walked thinking about Alex , he was strangely familiar but he said he had never meet me before...but I could shake this strange feeling and why would he say that we may see each other again.

Back at the house.......

I grabbed my bags out of the boot and walked to the house still in a daze, I stared at the floor.

" Layla ?" I heard someone say as I looked up to see Zander staring at me frowning slightly." Are you okay ? You were awfully quiet on the way home."

" I'm fine." I mumbled as I watched him unlock the door then I walked in and went straight upstairs.

" Oh by the way if you are up for it we are going to a club with Julie tonight , she is picking us up at about seven." I heard Zander shout up to me. 

" Okay." I shouted back at him, then I started to place my clothes in the wardrobe, Zander had cleared out half of the wardrobe and given two of the drawers to put my clothes because we didn’t know how long I would be staying for, after I had finished I sat on the bed and sighed then I heard someone walking up the stairs, I lay back staring at the ceiling.

“ Layla  ?” I heard Zander ask.

“ Yes ?” I replied closing my eyes.

“ What happened in the shopping centre , one minute you were fine and the next….” He said sounding worried.

Sighing I sat up and looked at him.

“ I saw this guy and I recognised him , I thought I had met him before but I didn’t know where and……turned out I was wrong and now I’m feeling confused.” I blurted out.

“ Oh, I’m sorry I guess it would have been nice if he was someone you know maybe then you could of spoke to  him about what has happened to you.” Zander said as he sat next to me , without thinking I placed my head on his shoulder , then I felt his arm wrap around me.

“ So we’re going clubbing ?” I asked looking up at him slightly.

“ If you want to.” He replied looking at me.

I nodded then smiled.

That night…….

I walked into the club and looked around; there was a big crowd of people. I suddenly felt a little out of my comfort zone as I glanced around.

“You okay ?” I heard someone whisper in my ear making me jump, I turned to see Zander.

“Yeah.” I lied smiling at him.

“Are you sure? You look a little lost.” He said smirking.

I blushed as he knew that I was lying.

“Come on guys, we can chitchat later.” I heard Julie shout then she made her way towards the bar, I felt someone grabbed my hand; I looked to see that it was Zander then he pulled me through the crowd following his sister, i walked slightly quicker and wrapped my free arm around Zanders, clinging onto him for dear life , he turned his head slightly to look at me then we continued to push through.

Once we got there, I had a drink shoved in my face…I looked at Julie then the drink.

“Take it.” Julie said smiling, I hesitantly took the drink from her and stared at it, it was blue in colour I took a sip.

“Nice.” I said smiling as I took another sip.

“Come on girl, let’s dance.” Julie shouted as she grabbed my arm, pulling me towards the dance floor.

“I don’t know how to dance.” I shouted at her.

“It’s fine, just let your body move to the music.” She replied as she let go of me and started to dance.

So listening to the music , I let my body move to the beat after a little bit , I felt two hands go on my waist I turned slightly to see zander behind me, I smiled leaning my body into his as I continued to dance.

I sat at a table, my head spinning slightly , I groaned.

“The room won’t stay still.” I groaned.

“Has someone had a few too many drinks?” I heard Zander laugh as I looked up glaring at him as he continued to laugh.

“No.” I said pouting slightly then I watched as he raised his eyebrow as if to say really.

“Whoop.” Julie said as she sat down next to Zander. “Damn that guy was fit.”

Zander and I looked at each other and laughed.

“What time is it?” Julie asked taking a sip from her drink

“Two.” Zander said looking at his phone , cringing from the brightness of the phone.

“Oh the night is still young.” She said as she stretched then she grabbed my hand “ Come on.”

She dragged me back onto the dance floor.
