I had won, I smirked, happily, almost crazily

The fly is dea-

Suddenly Lena blinked at me, the force shoving me instantly
We rolled on the floor till we came to a full stop, hitting a wall.
I could feel a bit of deja vu.
Lena was on top of me, her hands keeping a firm hold of me so I could not escape or attempt anything
"LET ME GO YOU IMBECILE!" I commanded
"Amelie pleas-" Lena began, her eyes filled with concern.
"I AM NOT AMELIE, AMELIE IS DEAD!" I yelled, angrily.
Lena flinched at the remark
"Am-.." She paused, rewording, "Widowmaker.."
I glared ice cold daggers at her.
"After that day..you don't really seem to remember it all luv..'" She continued "We had made a promise"
"Every time we had a problem we would talk to each other about it, it was a sort of a way we could let all our stress go..and have someone to cry about it with ya know?"
"You came to me one day about.." She paused, a look on her face that seemed to say 'Do I want to say this?' "G-Gerard."
"Your deceased husband.." Lena says.

"My first successful kill" I stated, coldly, smiling at the memory of that day.

Something fell, I flinched and looked up at Lena again, she was...
Crying.

"Oh man..l-luv" she whimpered, hardly able to speak without her crying interrupting it "you said he was being very distant.."
"Wouldn't talk to ya much..never asked how ya were doin..and..and.."
I raised my eyebrows at her, my anger from before replaced by confusion and concern.
Suddenly she pulled at my shirt, connecting our lips.
My eyes widened, suddenly memories of that day flashed by, it was all so blurry..so strange..

I walked into Lena's room, heading towards her small wooden balcony, I could see her waiting in a chair for me through the glass.
I opened the door, and Lena looked over and smiled cheerfully
"Amelie!"
"Hello Lena" I smiled, sitting on a chair next to her.
"How is it doing luv?'" She asked
I flinched and stared at the wooden floor for a long moment and looked back up at Lena
I went over everything with my issue with my husband, Gerard.
Lena stared at me, in silence, shocked by the news that Gerard has not even talked to me in the least bit for weeks
"Luv, how can ya even live like that?" She questioned, clearly not happy to hear this "I always thought Gerard was ah nice guy, and well ya know he was.."
"Was he getting too focused on Talon to really acknowledge you, luv?" She asked
I nodded "Yes, I do remember one day I had gone to his room where he studies, he...he was drunk beyond his mind, there were papers about Talon thrown all around the room.." I recalled.
"H-he had thrown the bottle of beer at me.." I stated, stuttering, and moved my jacket sleeve a bit, revealing a clearly recent cut with a few other small ones scattered across it that was still healing on my arm, caused by the glass.
Lena's eyes widened "That's horrible luv..!"
"Why haven't ya asked Angela to help you heal it or asked anyone for help with Gerard?" She asked

"It's.. just something I'd rather not share to her or anyone really.." I answered, looking down at the floor.
Lena nodded "I understand luv.."

"Hey Lena?"

"What is it luv..?" She queried

"Recently" I paused, taking a breath "I..have grown feelings for you Lena" I confessed, blushing.

Lena's eyes widened. "D-did I hear that right..?" She stammered, her face red as a cherry.

"Y-yes Cherie..you did" I stated, blushing more, likely just as red as she was.

Suddenly Lena's eyes lit up with joy and she blinked off her chair, suddenly pushing me, though gently not harshly against my chair, she gripped my shoulders, tears of joy in her eyes
"Luv ya don't know how long I've wanted to hear that!" She laughed, wiping tears from her face
"Cherie.." I started, happy to hear she felt the same
Lena put her finger to my lips, silencing me
"I know Amelie" she smiled but suddenly froze, "hey, um..luv.."

"Oui?" I replied

"C-could we um..k-kiss..?" She stammered, blushing even more than before, making me realize just how close we were at the moment

"Y-yes.." I answered, somewhat flustered, neither of us questioned how we would remain like this, with Gerard and all..but at the moment we simply did not care

Lena got closer to me, leaning in further on the chair, I could feel her breath against my face as she connected our lips, I kissed her back again, much more intensely, and Lena did the same.

Mon dieu this was bliss..

"Are you sure she's safe to be around at the moment?" A faint voice asked, that of a woman, sounding tired.
"Doc I'm sure she'll remember!" A voice, I recognized as Lena's, replied.
I slowly opened my eyes, the room was a blur, I could tell I was back at the small cell I was put in when that ..ape and ..Angela tried to restore my memories.
The faint glowing blue bars kept me from escaping, the slightest touch of it would burn and alert them.
I stared at the two as they talked, they had yet to notice I was awake.
"Cherie..?" I said, my voice faint.
Lena quickly turned her head towards my cell, surprised.
I could see red marks on her neck from when I had attempted to kill her still there, though faint.
"Ameli-" She stopped, not sure if to call me that was wise.
"It's fine Lena.." I smiled lightly, holding my arms out for her to come hug me.
"And I love you." I stated, in reference to what she wanted me to remember
Lena's eyes widened and she looked over cheerfully at Angela.
Angela looked from me to her very quizzically at first before taking a deep breath and sighing, before doing anything she pointed to a camera in the corner of the cell then to me, glaring fiercely, she then turned the cell bars off so Lena could run to me.
I nodded in response to the doctor, knowing that meant that if I tried anything she would know.
Angela promptly left the room to give us space.
Lena zipped into my arms in no time, crying "Amelie..I thought I lost you" she sobbed
"Cherie I'm so sorry.." I apologized, feeling terrible for how I had acted.
"I-it's fine Amelie" she said, still crying.
I held on to her, ruffling her hair a bit.

"I love you.." Lena sobbed

"I love you too Cherie" I responded.
