Pack Meeting

I sighed and sat back in my chair. Rin grinned and sighed too. "I'm glad that project's over. I thought it would never end." I laughed and glanced down at my phone. No new messages, no new email, the time was 12:30pm, three apps needed to be updated. Wait it was 12:30?!?! I grabbed my coat and got up quickly. "Rin, we have to go! Come on!" Rin looked confused, then looked at the time. "Oh shit! We're late." Rin and I dashed out of the building and to my car. I started it and we sped away to the pack.

When we got to the pack meeting, we ducked in quietly. Rin was able to sneak to his father's side without any punishment, but a soft growl and a frown. I had no such luck. "So you've decided to join us? We are honored to have you in our ranks!" My father's voice dripped with how entertained he was at doing this. I cringed and froze. My father's hearty laugh filled the room as he saw me freeze. "Get up here, boy! We have work to do!" Many people looked at me with amusement, but some just looked at me in aggravation. To my delight, Yuki was trying to hide his chuckle. A blush spread across his face as he tried not to laugh. He looked so adorable. I walked up to the rock that my father was standing on and climbed up to him. He clasped me on the back and laughed at my embarrassed expression. "Now let us begin!" My father's voice boomed through the clearing as I looked at Yuki. Yuki's face sometimes hardened and he'd shout with the others, but other times his face would soften, like when he heard the news of the newest addition to our pack. I like how his face showed what he was feeling. I've never seen him try to hide his feelings before either. Someone came over to Yuki and wrapped their arm around him. Anger raged through me as I saw Yuki look up and smile. He was looking at Yuki in a loving way, but I just wanted to rip his throat out. My wolf howled so loud I thought that everyone had heard him. He was hurt and pissed as hell. I returned to listening to the meeting and felt eyes drift up to me. I knew who was staring, but i couldnt take looking at him. I focused harder, but that didn't stop my heart from aching. My Yuki, in someone else's arms.
