Today was a Friday morning. But it didn't seem that way. My grey crewneck kept me warm from this sudden cold weather.

It was thick fog outside and the humidity was going to make my hair puff up. So I just put it in a bun.

The air was thick and I couldn't see well through the fog. All I could see were the fog lights on the cars that were driving up and down the streets.

I didn't catch the bus and I didn't have a car so my only choice was walking. But because I didn't live very close I have to wake up early.

Usually zena would see me out but this morning she didn't. Maybe its because of last night.

Just the thought of it made me cringe. I had a panic attack. And when I do its because of a dream I get. This dream was very vivid but I could only remember some details.

His hair was long and chocolate brown. My breath was taken away by his apperence. I wanted to get closer and get to know me. I wanted to see his face. My feet moved on their own as I approached him from behind. I opened my mouth to speak but not a word came out. Now I started to panic. I couldn't breath and my heart pounded. The closer I got to him the worse it became. Finally when I reached him I felt dead. I couldn't move, breath, speak or think. When he turned around.

Garnet. His eyes were a garnet color. Beautiful.

After that I woke up having a panic attack. It was weird for me to dream of a boy but it happened.

The first class bell rung as I got to the school door.

The hallways were packed. Students flooded the hallways. All you could here was squeeking of shoes and people talking. The smell of the girls perfume and boys cheap cologne filled my nose.

Letting out a sign I quickly walked to my locker to get to class and avoid any trouble today.

"Hey" jumping at the sudden voice I turned around and met Dylan's face.

He made my heart beat every time he smiled at me I kinda trusted him.

"Yes?"

"How are you?" He seemed to be in a rush but still wanted to talk to me.

"Fine"

"Well I came to ask if you wanted to come to this like home coming party tonight"

"I don't go to parties"

"Well this one is different, I'll be there and its only a few people it's like a bonfire, it'll be in the woods"

I shook my head no and walked off to my class.

There was no chance I was going to a party.

3 hours later

Again the hallways was crowded. Some people was going to class or leaving and the other was going to lunch.

Like me.

I never ate lunch until zena told me I needed too or I'll get sick.

But if I do eat I don't go into the cafeteria I got outside or in the bathroom but I stopped doing that.

So now I go to the bleechers outside.

Ham sandwich, white milk, carrots and bread.

My everyday lunch I got. I took it in a bag and made my way outside.

There was people outside but they were the non social type like me. Or they were just jocks and cheerleaders.

"Nyla wait up"

"Dylan?" It was weird seeing him here cause he eats lunch with Brooke.

"Please change your mind" presistant huh.

"I'm not going don't nobody want me there"

"Nobody will care I promise I'll be with you"

"No" I kept walking not wanting to hear more.

"Nyla I was hoping you'd say yes because I was too embarrassed to say will you come to the party with me as a date"

His words rang through my head. He didn't mean that I'm sure or I just heard him wrong.

"What?"

"Be my date to the party?"

It was like a angel and devil on my shoulders. Cause one was saying go be with him he is your crush and the other was like he'll break your heart and dump you like trash.

But I had to make a decision I could leave him there wondering.

"Dylan"

"Yes?"

"I'll go with you" his smile lit up

"OK I'll pick you up around 8" running off to his friends happy I didn't see him after that.

After school I walked home and did my homework.

I didn't have much clothes that people like Brooke would wear but I found something.

"This should be good"

I had on high waisted blue shorts that was kinda ripped at the bottoms. I had a white T-shirt and some shoes.

I was ready. It should be fun as long as I'm with Dylan. Honestly I couldn't believe I was going on a date with him.

"Where you going?" I didn't even notice zena at my door. She was standing there with her arms folded leaning against the door frame.

"On a date"

"With?"

"Dylan, he goes to my school" she didn't seem convinced he face frowned up a bit as she stared at me.

"Where is he taking you"

"To a party" I picked up some money and my house keys and stuffed them in my pocket.

"I don't like this, do you really think he is interested in you?"

I could feel my face heat up at her words. I would of though she'd support me. I never had friends never and the one time I'm actually leaving the house she's discouraging me.

"Yes I don't why can't you be happy for me, I like him and he likes me or else he wouldn't have asked me" my hand touched the door knob as I was about to leave.

"Don't believe people so easily"

I closed the door behind me and left.

He sat in the car waiting for me. He had a dark blue truck that anyone could mistake for black. It was a little old and rusty but it was in pretty good shape.

"You ready?"

I looked back at zena as she stood at the door. I felt uneasy after that.
