Grace was raised like any other teenager was. Her parents were compassionate and kind, and taught her everything she needed to know by the time she was mature enough to make her own decisions. She didn't realize why her parents treasured her so much until they mysteriously died. It was even more of a mystery when Grace found herself at the scene of the crime before anyone else, right before her parents' eyes shut into unconsciousness.
One year later, she moved to Beacon Hills with her grandmother, and it isn't long until it is explained to her that the reason she is constantly appearing at crime scenes and hospital beds for the past few months is because she is a descendant from a long line of one particular mythical creature.
