Since my parents were out, there weren't any awkward conversations to be shared about first dates with 'strangers'. Peering into my limited summer wardrobe, choosing a suitable outfit for this date proved to be more difficult than expected. Sticking to something safe, I chose a pair of boyfriend jeans, a striped navy and white tee paired with my red vans. I really dig the whole 'nautical' colour scheme and in my opinion, it never goes out of style.
After a quick body shower to wash away the grime of the sand and seaweed, I decided against washing the sea salt out of my hair and opted for natural beach waves. With my tan beginning to progress, there was no need for foundation, just a dab of mascara and blush would do me well. A spritz of Vera Wang Princess and I was ready. Did I mention that I got dressed, because I did, if you were wondering.
