It All Started At A Wedding

Regina's POV
"Babe? Where are you going." I heard Robin my husband ask "oh, Uhm I'm going to meet with mayor from California, so we can discuss a new job offer." He smiled "that's great babe." He leaned into a kiss but I pulled "lipstick." He nodded and left, I walked out the door and unlocked my car and went to Panda Express. Yes I know your probably asking yourself why are you going out with Emma when your married! Let me explain, it was an  arranged marriage by my mother I didn't want this marriage whatsoever so when Jake told me about Emma I was.. I don't know,  something inside of me told me to take my shot, so I did. As I parked in the parking lot of Panda Express (a Chinese place)  I heard music walked to and saw her and I melted by her angelic voice.
"Right there on the sidewalk we met after dark your friend give you a ride you step out of his car The moon lit up the street it was the middle of July but it was cold like November that night you're looking right at me and I'm looking the way you're telling me everything I'm too scared to say ,you say my eyes are like something that you have never seen before and I can't help but fall and I know that I'm so far gone i'm so gone right now she knows I'm down and she'll knock me out just one more luck she'll  burn me down she'll  burn me down with the hearts on fire." She finished singing and everyone was clapping and cheering and finally out eyes met and we walked towards each other "hey" she smiled "hi" she scratched the back of her neck "how long were you standing there?" I smiled "it doesn't matter," I grabbed her hand "let's go eat." We took our seats with our try's of food "you didn't have to pay for me you know that right." "I know but I asked you out and it's "gentleman" thing to do so." I laughed "alright then so," I took a sip of my soda "you can sing?"

Emma's POV
"so, you can sing." I gulped "Uhm, I uh, I dabble a little." She laughed "A little? Hell no, tell me the truth." "Okay fine, I sing all the time I even sing Henry to bed." She smiled "can you sing me something someday?" "Eventually, yeah." I phone buzzed "I'm sorry I thought I turned it off." She smiled "no it's okay." I took out my phone and saw a text from ... Lily. Hey Emmybear.. Remember when I used to call you that ? Haha, anyway I was wondering I you wanted to hangout today? I rolled my eyes and locked my phone and sighed then put it in my pocket "you okay?" Regina asked me "oh yeah yeah, just.. It's nothing." I pushed my food away from because frankly I lost my appetite. Regina looked at me." A-are you sure." I grabbed her hand "I'm sure." After 2 hours of talking I had to go home to pick up my little munchkin. "I had a lot of fun, and I don't want this to end but I have to pick up my son from my parents house." She smiled and stood and I stood up with her " it's fine I understand." I smiled and kissed her cheek "your the best, call me okay? " she nodded and blushed and I walked out. I walked to my parents and saw Rubys car and walked in "mom ? Dad?" I looked around "Ruby?" I went upstairs and saw a door cracked "Are you sure?" I heard my dad ask "oh yeah I'm sure " Ruby said "okay wait are we really thinking Regina's married ? She didn't have a ring on at the wedding." My breath hitched and tears were starting to form in my eyes "Mary, she married Jake told me and he doesn't lie." "Well, we have to tell Emma before she goes on that date and fall Mir win live then she already is." I opened the door and they all looked at me and I couldn't fight the tears and they started falling. "It's a little too late for that don't you think ?" They all gasped "Emma , I-I can explain." "I don't want to hear it !" I yelled I wiped my tears and "where's Henry so I can take him home." "He's in his room." My mom said quietly. I walked to Henry room and saw him playing with his toys "momma!." She stopped running when he saw my face "momma you okays ?" I smiled weakly "mommy is fine, come on let's go home." I picked him up, walked downstairs grabbed my bag and walked home. I can't believe this?! She fucking married ?! God how can I have been so stupid! I sniffles as I walked threw my apartment door, Henry fell asleep in my arms on the way here so I tucked him into bed, then I grabbed my old guitar from the basement and stared at it I haven't played in years... Guess things really do change. I went back upstairs and go my "songbook" out from the bookshelf and went to the balcony, I went to a new page in my book and started strumming my guitar

Maybe I'm already good enough."  I couldn't fight it anymore I let the tears win, I never thought they day would when I let tears win, guess this girl really does mean something to me.
