Prolouge

                  BROOKLYN                     Everyone gets to be in pain, everyone except me. I'm simply not allowed to look sad. I'm always supposed to be cheerful and happy go lucky, but I'm not. I'm misunderstood. I like to listen to 80's music, I get made fun of. I love a artist named Michael Jackson. Of course he has been dead since 1982, but his music still lives on. When I listen to him, it's probably the only time I feel happy. I'm just glad the music didn't stop flowing. Of course he had many songs in a vault so they release them slowly and a new one just came out in 2014. I was smiling for real not just a front. I really love to draw, although my parents say I can't. When they say stuff like that, I'd like to think that it was because they grew up in rough conditions. My granddad on my dads side died in war. My grandparents on my moms side died before she was even 18. So I excuse them for a lot of things. I can't blame them either, as far as I'm concerned, I'm just a waste of space. I'm ugly. I can't do anything, like I have no talents. The only thing I am proud of is my name, Brooklyn and my taste in music. I don't really have friends seeing we just moved here to Los Angeles. My
dad got a job offering here so we had to move which meant I had to leave my hometown, Brooklyn, New York. Yes my mother named me after the city I was born in, how cliche. I have to start school tomorrow which means new bullies, new people to judge me, and most of all new challenges I have to face on my own.
