Chapter six . . . Walk Of Shame?

Kylie's POV

I stood outside of the motel room Dean and Sam were staying at. I pushed the sunglasses up my head and gripped the bag of doughnuts I had in the other, despite the pain shooting through my arm.

I went to grab the door knob but stopped and shot my arm back. Was Dean going to be there? Did he tell Sam? Are they both going to hate me? I groaned inwardly and felt like bashing my head off the door. Why did life have to life have to be so difficult?

Suddenly the door swung open and there stood Sam with a smirk on his face. "So are you going to stand out there all day, or did you plan on coming in?" I couldn't help but smile.

"Yes smartass, but I was thinking."

"About my brother?"

"What! No! About the case, so watch it." I pushed him aside and walked into the shitty motel. "You guys know how to stay classy don't you?" I said and turned back around to Sam.

"Yeah well you got to keep a low profile."

"Especially when your running from the cops, right?" I said and Sam just shrugged his shoulders.

Suddenly the bathroom door swung open and out came Dean fully dressed but his hair slightly damp.

"It was all those damn shape shifters fault, but hey he did pick the best looking brother." Sam and I both rolled our eyes, but in the back of my mind I couldn't help but agree.

"Anyway, where's our vic?"

"In the hospital."

"Is she okay?"

"Serve shock. The girl won't even speak." Sam said and I felt a pain strike my chest.

"So she's not going to be helpful. Do you know anything about her?"

"Her name is Jenifer Booth. She's twenty-three and from Nebraska. Have you seen her from before at the bar?" I shrugged my shoulders and crossed my arms.

"I see lots of people all the time. There's no way I can be sure. The only one would be Linda. She knew everybody."

"What about Chelsea?" Dean asked.

"I don't know I could call her and ask." I pulled out my cellphone and it kept ringing until I got her voice mail. I quickly left a message and put my phone back. "She didn't pick up. So I got nothing." I admitted.

"Great so we're back to square one."  Dean said and clasped his hands together. "Are those donuts?" I rolled my eyes and handed him the bag in which he dug into greedily.

In the meantime Sam was on his laptop typing away furiously. "Okay Sammy what are you thinking?" I asked and pulled up a chair and sat next to him.

"Jenifer Booth owns a world-wide successfully own restaurants. She had blogs and before and after pictures on her website." Sam hit the play button and turned it so all of us could see. On the screen was the girl we saved yesterday.

"So no luck on Ryan's bar the owner has said that there was quote, "No way in hell she was going to let the place go." but I'm not going to let this go. I swear by the end of the month I will have that bar." The video stopped and I shook my head.

"You know if she wasn't lying in a hospital bed not talking, I would say that she was our witch." Sam shut his laptop and turned to me.

"You don't have any idea who she is?"

"No, not a clue."

"Well why don't we go raid her place? See if there's any witchy voodoo crap in there." Dean implies after long moments of stuffing his face.

"Do we know where she lives?"

"Actually I have the address right here. Why don't you two go check out her place and I'll go and see if I can find something at the bar from last night."

"NO!" I said quickly and loudly making both boys jump.

"What's the problem?" Sam asked with a smirk and I wanted to slap it right off of his face.

"I-uh- I should go check out the bar because well- I mean it would be less obvious to people if I went and . . . yeah." Dean frowned but decided to speak and I wanted to slap him along with his brother.

"Shut up and let's go." I sighed and Dean walked passed me and out the door, angrily.

"Have fun." Sam said with a chuckle and I glared at him.

"You did this on purpose."

"I have no idea what you are talking about." He said innocently.

"You're almost as bad as him sometimes." That made him smirk.

I  quickly gave him the finger and ran out the door only to find a saddened but angry Dean waiting for me in his car.

This was going to be a long long hunt.
