"Where we having it?" I asked.
"Waterview Loft," Marshall replied instantly. That was fine.
"And we're having it May 26th, right?" I confirmed.
"That would be correct."
There was something up with Marshall. Already. He'd just gotten back home a week and a half ago and he's being strange.
"You okay honey?" I asked curiously.
He nodded his head. "I'm gonna go cook cereal. I mean make. I'm gonna make me some cereal. You want any?"
"No, I'm good. I'm making chicken for dinner tonight. Any sides you want in particular?"
"Mashed potatoes please," he said in a hurried tone.
Something was wrong.

We, meaning me, Marshall, and Whitney, sat down and ate dinner. There was about 3 minutes of awkward silence until Whitney broke it.
"So, have you guys told Hailie and Lanney about the wedding?" she asked.
"Uh, I told Alaina. Hailie didn't answer the phone. Alaina was shocked but very happy," Marshall said quickly.
"Did you tell Addy about me?" she asked smirking.
"Oh?" I questioned.
"Get this, Addison. I was in on it the whole time. From the beginning of the entire scheme. I knew he was gonna propose. It was so hard trying not to explode from excitement," she said.
"You were? Oh my god Whitney. Kudos to you for being so sneaky. I had no idea," I said flabbergasted.
She and Marshall both had this smug look on their faces.
We finished dinner and Whitney had some of her friends over.
"Marshall, what's up? Something's wrong." He looked at me with a sad expression.
"I have to go on tour," he said.
"You what?!" I yelled. I can't believe this.
"Baby, I'm so sorry. I'll make a lot of money with this one. Please baby, don't be mad. Please," Marshall pleaded.
"Not be mad? Not be mad?! Marshall our wedding is in 8 months!" I was beyond furious. 8 months! He'll be gone!
"The tour is only seven months!" he yelled.
"That still doesn't help. Yeah, one month for us to do your half of the planning? Your tux, your groomsmen's tuxes! Marshall, you can't! You seriously can't!"
"I'm doing it."
