I am Still Here

the sun does rise tomorrow

and the world sings with alarm clocks

and morning news and cities burst to life

and i am still here.

even when i haven't wanted to be.

still locking up in my own room

not having the capability to differ the hour, days, and dates

everytime the sun came up

would always be a morning

everytime the sun goes down

would always be a night

barely cared about looking at the calendar to tell the date

monday or sunday didn't make any difference whatsoever

retreated to this solitary state that i am in

put aside my cell away

let the battery died

and kept the phone on the nightstand

completely forgotten

sitting slump on the couch

look up at the ceiling that had grown to familiar with

painting the black splotches and slight cracks on them by the heart

staring blankly at the TV screen

looking back at my own reflection

not doing anything significant

and felt the two hours as mere minutes

doing nothing but sleep and get some peace

are the activities i had by now
