You have been a dancer since you were three years old. This year, you are seventeen and this is the last year that you are able to dance.
"Miss. Phillips, can I ask you something?" You ask your dance instructor after class.
"Yeah sure. What's up Y/N?" She asks grabbing her water.
"Well, I was wondering, since next week is my last week to dance, I was wondering if I could do a solo and be in the group dance." You ask looking at her.
"What solo piece would you want to do?" Miss. Phillies asks as she hands you your water bottle.
"I'd want to do the one that I have been working on with you. The one with the song History by One Direction. My boyfriend Liam's in the band." You explain.
"Oh ok. Yeah. I'll see what I can do. But I have a feeling your gonna have that solo." She says before walking away.
---------Week of the Competition---------
"Ok girls. So this week, is gonna be an emotional one. Y/N won't be able to dance with us anymore since she's almost eighteen. So, now to the solos, duets and more." Miss. Phillips says going to the wall.
"First the solos, Y/N, Sasha and Tori. You three have solos." Our dance choreographer Brian says.
"Y/N, your piece, you'r piece is entitled, My Last Dance. You will be dancing to a song that you are always singing, History." Miss. Phillips says smiling.
After she got through Sasha's and Tori's songs, I was a bit nervous about duets, trios and groups.
"Our two duets are, Y/N and Addy, and Sierra and Sophia." Brian calls out.
"Y/N and Addy, your piece is entitled Fly Butterfly Fly. You two are sisters and Y/N is leaving for college." Miss. Phillips said before moving on.
"Our trio group is, Hannah, Trinity and Y/N." Brian said sounding not so shocked with calling my name.
"Your piece is entitled, Saying Something. It'll be just like the duet Y/N."
"Now onto our group. You all will be in it this time." Brian explains.
"This group piece is important. It's called Please Stay With Me?"
After Miss. Phillips explained everything, I was a bit overwhelmed. I had three dances that I had to do. So I was gonna be rushing on and off stage.
--------------Day Of Competition------------
"Good luck girls. Make us proud." Miss. Phillips calls after us.
"Y/N, is Liam gonna be here?" All the girls ask.
"Yeah he's in the front row beside the judges. Him and the other three guys have their hood up." I explain.
You preformed your solo and rushed to go get ready for the duet. You had half an hour to get ready for duets.
"Why do you look so stressed?" A voice asks coming up behind you.
"I just had a solo now I have a duet, then a trio then the group dance." You said doing your makeup.
"Well, you and I have a whole lot of history." The voice sang.
"LiLi! Your here!" You say getting up and hugging him.
"Yes I am. Do you need any help?" He asks you.
"Yes. Can you hand me my pink tutu?" You ask finishing your makeup.
-------------Award presentation-----------
"And our first place award to winning solo is, act number 29, My Last Dance." The announcer calls handing you the trophy.
"Congrats." Trinity whispers.
A few minutes passed till they got to the duet for first and second place. Let's just get to the point, you won first place in everything.
