Blake's POV

I grab my lunch out of my locker, and rush to the cafeteria. I run through to the back door, and push it open, the breeze hitting my face. It was still summer, sure, but fall was coming in a little more than a month. The door slams behind me, as I hear my name called. I look up to see Cody sitting under an oak tree.

"Cody. What do you want?" I sigh, wishing that only Kris and I would eat together. But of course, one of the most popular girls in school invited her to lunch. Oh well.

"So, can you come over tonight? My last girlfriend didn't blow off too well, and my parents want me to bring home a decent and innocent girl. Basically a geek or nerd." I roll my eyes at his terms and shrug.

"I need to check with my parents." I pull out my phone from my back pocket. I call my mom.

Blake: Hey mom any plans tonight?

Mom: no, but Kate has dress rehearsal and needs someone to drive her.

Blake: well, I can't I don't have a license. Give me 2 years. I'll be 17 in no time.

Mom: alright, I'll ask Matt. Why do you ask?

Blake: may I go over to Kristen's and spend the night?

Mom: of course, but you have to be ready for school tomorrow. So bring like clothes and stuff.

Blake: thanks mom!

I end the conversation, and text Kris about coming over tonight. She agrees, as we have done this before.

"So what's happening?" Cody questions.

"Well, I'm going to your house, meet your parents and tell them about the project. Then, after talking I go to Kristen's house and sleep over. Gucci?"

"Okay. Hey, can I have your number?" Cody pulls out his phone. I grab it and roll my eyes. "It's only for the project, chill out."

"Okay, I guess you're calling the shots." I type in my number, and text myself, "Hi". He takes his phone back, and begins to eat his lunch. I pick mine up, and relocate to another tree.

"Nice ass!" He cat calls me as I walk away. I turn around and stick up both my middle fingers. Suckers.

I turn around, and bump into Kris.

"Hey, Kris. You okay?" Tears stream down her face.

"No." She runs, and cries. I try to catch her, but Cody stops me.

"Give her air, babe." I sit down and run my hands through my hair. I don't know what happened, but it's not good.

Hey, it's your fav, Jordan! I decided in the summer (it's August 1, 2016 rn) that I will try to post on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays AND Friday and/or Saturday. So double updates?

Expect some drama, so pass the popcorn! I'm so excited to get this book on a roll!

I love you guys, and remember to stay Gucci! 😘😘
