Geno stared out of the screen that showed the current time line. It didn't look good. The "child" had decided to kill everyone again, after a pause of few resets. Geno watched as the kid walked out of snowdin and towards waterfall with a bored but determined look.

"I'm sorry Papyrus", he whispered quietly, knowing what had happened only moments ago in the time line. He could almost see the contrast of a red scarf and the snow it was laying on, as it moved in rhythm with the wind.

Geno closed his eyes and turned away from the screen making it disappear into the nothingness. He took in deep breaths as he covered his eyes.

He would _not_ break down now. He simply could not. He needed to plan for the next sans, this time he was certain it would go well and sans might even agree with him.

...Or not which was often the case.
He opened his eyes and sighted deeply, looking around himself once. Frisk had gone off to play with the blaster as they had not wanted to see what was happening in the current time line. They had watched once, and still regretted it. Frisk was currently nowhere to be seen, but Geno was not worried. When was he ever.

He then thought back to the time line and frowned. Once again, Papyrus had died and nothing had changed. None of it ever did.

_It's your fault_, Geno's mind whispered as he turned back towards the place of the screen and watched it appear again, showing the kid murdering yet another innocent monster in cold blood.

_You should have been stronger. You should have done something._ he frowned deeper as he heard the voice morph into that of Papyrus. _Why didn't you do anything?_

Geno collapsed onto the ground and stared forward with wide, unseeing eyes. _Why? You only watched as they killed everyone_

Geno was now trying to cover himself from the dissapointed and sad voice of Papyrus. Tears sprung into his eye as the glitches covered his face.

_You only watched as they killed *me*_ Geno shook with quiet sobs as he whispered the mantra of "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" _Do you not care?_

"I do!" He screamed out through the tears that were now streaming from his eye and the sobs that rocketed his body back and forth.

He suddenky froze as he felt a hand land onto his shoulder. The light, nearly non-excistent touch grounded him slightly as he closed his eyes and tried to calm his breath.

_Do you really, sans?_ Geno sobbed as he heard the calm, almost cold voice whisper in his ear. _Prove it._

_Come with me sans_, a long, sharp bone appeared into his hands as he struggled to find his voice again, overcome by sadness and horror.

"I-I c-can't. Pl- please, Papyrus. I-" he tried to say, but stopped to stare at the bone in his hands.

It would be so easy. So quick. All thoughts left him as he caressed the bone. _Please brother. I need you with me_ he heard Papyrus say next to him. _I need to see you care._ the voice was so soothing and soft and Geno closed his eyes with a sight.

"Goodbye", he whispered as he felt the bone pierce through his chest and scrape at what was left of his soul, before a blinding pain shot through his bones.

He screamed as he fell to the ground and cluthed at his chest moaning in pain as he cried. The pain tore through him as he tried not to move while heaving hard. The bone dissapeared in the same way it appeared, leaving a gaping hole into his hoodie.

He had forgotten where he was. It was impossible for him to die here. It was impossible for him to find peace.
But... maybe he deserved this, he thought as another shot of pain went through him. He had let them all die...

He deserved this.
