Musu's Uprising (Milo's Treacherous Journey Prequal)

Prologue

Ederas quietly stalked through the cornfields, his eyes peeled for a certain yellow and black wild cat.
"Adeke?" He called out in search of his mate. His heart beat warily, scared that he had lost her. Adeke was pregnant, pregnant with his children. Twins to be exact, a boy and a girl. He was excited and Adeke was ecstatic, but she was scared they would hold her down. She had run away, with the intent to give birth and leave the kids behind.
"I'm an important member of the royal guard, not a mom." She had said. Ederas knew that she was mad but he had not known that she would be gone in the morning.
"Adeke, please." Ederas pleaded. Mews came from a nearby bush, Ederas approached cautiously and peeked inside. He gasped, two little Cheetah cubs wriggled and struggled beneath the pointy leaves.
"Milion! Musu!" He glanced around, making sure that Adeke was really gone. He sighed and picked the two cubs up by the gruff of their necks. A tear slipped down his face as he arrived back at his den. He dropped the cubs off in a tunnel near it and set of to find their mother, and his wife.
