Chapter 2

"Don't cross your boundaries Alana! You are the last person in this building who has a right to complain!"

She nodded and ran off to get me my usual at Starbucks. I could've fired her more then once for being incapable of shutting her mouth when she needed to but surprisingly she was one of the best workers on this floor.

Today I would have to interview all the applicants and sadly there are always 90% who aren't even ready to work here nor do they have  any experience and I don't need inexperienced employees.

Suddenly, I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," I called and looked up to see who it is.

Alana walked into my office with my order and the first three CV's since it was time to start with the interviews. I looked through the first CV and rejected the applicant since he was not fulfilling my standards.

"Let the second one in and tell one and three to leave," I demanded and Alana did as she was told.

A knock echoed through my office and I told the person to come in. A brown haired women a little older than me walked in with a bright smile and stuck her hand out for me to shake.

I ignored the gesture and motioned her to sit down.

"Hey, my name is Lisa Tucker. I'm 26 and I really want this job."

I looked through her CV again and asked her some questions. I shot her a cold glance and handed her back her CV.

"Leave," I said, casually.

She looked irritated but took her purse and left my office.

The next few applicants all failed my standards and I started getting annoyed and pissed off by all these people who think all they have to do is smile to get a job.

"Hello, I'm Sara Miller, 21 and recently worked for Enterprises & Co."

"Did you get fired?" I asked curiously since Enterprises & Co. was like a mini version of Jensen Enterprises and if you get fired there then you won't even survive a day here.

"I quit because I moved and the drive would've been an hour."

Soon enough I hired her and and told the next person to come in. I was slightly shocked to see a quiet handsome man walking into my office. As everyone before him he stuck his hand out for me to shake but like always I ignored it and motioned him to sit down.

"Name?" I raised my eyebrow at him since he didn't even introduced himself. "I'm Harry Styles," he said casually with an unexpected, thick, British accent.

"26, experienced and determined," I sum up what he had written in his CV. He nodded and folded his hands on his lap. I questioned him like everyone else and was quite impressed.

"Tomorrow morning, 8am sharp," I snapped as I handed him his CV back.

"Thank you, Miss Jenson," he said with his British accent and left my office.

As the day went on I hired a few more people and expected them tomorrow morning at eight for their first day at work.

I dialed the assistance's office which should be Alana at least for today and she picked up immediately. "I need the files to sign for the expansion," I said harshly and hung up.

Two minutes later I had the files on my desk and told her to get Niall for the contracts which I had to sign as well. I worked through the other files until Niall came and I signed everything for him to mail it as soon as possible so I could finally open the new Jensen Enterprises building in Toronto.

I was hoping that in maximum two months I would have my Enterprise expanded.

-

I walked out of my office to go to the meeting with the new employees to fill them in on everything important. I entered the meeting room and sat on my usual spot as the new employees already sat around the huge table with Alana being there as well.

I told each and everyone where they work and what I expect from them. "Harry, I expect the business plan by tomorrow so we can work it through and Sara get me my usual."

I exited the room and saw Sara looking irritated before Alana filled her in. I won't repeat my orders every time someone is incapable of doing their job.

The rest of the day I didn't get interrupted whilst doing my work so I didn't have to yell or fire someone which was a good sign for the new employees.

I worked late and saw only a few employees running around so they could get home to their family or whatever. I, on the other hand, took my things and got in the elevator so I could work at home.

When the elevator doors were about to close someone stuck their hand in between the doors in order for them to open again. I looked up from my phone to see who it was and saw the new British guy entering the elevator.

"Working late, I see," I said and typed away on my phone. I saw Harry nodding from the corner of my eye and I focused back on the email that I was reading.

"I have a question," his thick British accent echoed through the elevator, interrupting me once again.

"Go ahead," I took a quick glance at him before I continued to type away on my phone.

"It's about the business plan. I don't think I'll have it done by tomorrow," he said unsure.

I shut off my phone and glared at him.

"You see Harry, I don't like if people aren't done on time. So either I'll have the business plan by tomorrow or you can get yourself a new job."

My harsh words seemed to take him off guard but before he could say anything the elevator arrived at the bottom and I got into the car so Shawn could take me home.

As Shawn started driving I saw Harry walking towards his car. I watched him as we stopped at a red light and saw him opening the door and throwing his bag along with his jacket to the passenger seat before getting in. His suit fitted him perfectly as well as his white dress shirt which was tucked into his pants neatly.

I snapped out of it as my phone vibrated and I made some important phone calls to Canada.

The first thing I did when I got home was to plan out the grand opening in Toronto. I had to fly there soon and maybe stay for a few days for not only the opening but also the first day of work for the new boss I had already hired.

He worked at my office for good six months and I gave him hard work to test his abilities which he finished off in no time so I didn't worry about him messing up Jenson Enterprises and leading it to bankruptcy.

I couldn't wait for the expansion and maybe after that I could finally catch up with sleeping.

I popped a gum in my mouth and took a sip out of my water bottle before I continued my work like I usually would after I come home. Of course that lead to me falling asleep in the living room with the files only half done.
