                                                       ~ A Great Mission ~

                    This is a Story of How a Little Boy with a Big Heart, Achieved a Great Mission.

    One day, a little boy at school overheard his principle and another man talking about how something was wrong with the school building, and they might have to close the school down. The little boy named Kevin at the age of ten, loved his school and his class. He was a straight "A" student.

    Kevin was a Christian boy. His mother and father had been raising him in church. They made sure they prayed around him a lot to show him how to pray. He loved Jesus or "Daddy" as he called Him. He also loved to help anyone he could. It sounded to him like the principle needed help, so he thought he'd look around and listen out for anything that looked or sounded wrong.

    One day at school, Kevin went down a hall and noticed this group of boys hanging around this one spot. Kevin also noticed they were talking, and moving a lot. They stayed there for a half hour. After they left, Kevin walked up to the spot. He found that they were beating up a boy not far from his age. Kevin remembered what the group looked like, so when he got home he could draw a picture of what the group looked like. He was a very good drawer and painter so he knew if he could get it to look exactly how he remembered, he would have a perfect sketch to show the principle.

    The next day he found this same group putting Vicks all over the principles new suit. He knew that they had gone too far this time. So back to the drawing board he went.

    The next day he took his pictures to the principle. The principle was stunned to find that his art was so good. The principle found this group of boys and sent them to detention, and also made them all clean his brand new suit.

    Later that day the principle asked Kevin if he could speak to him after class, Kevin agreed. When Kevin walked in the principles office he asked, "Am I in trouble?" The principle said, "Not at all! I was just wondering how you knew to follow those boys, and how on earth did you learn to draw like that, at such a young age?!" Kevin said, "Well. I heard you talking to some man about closing the school, so I thought I'd look around and listen out for anything that may seem weird. I don't know, it seemed like it would be a good thing to do to me. I think my father is proud of me." The principle said, "Yes, I should think Dave is!" Kevin said with a smile on his face, "No, I meant Jesus. But that one is too! I guess I'm kinda good at art because Daddy blessed me with paying good attention to things, and having a good memory." The principle said, "Well, I sure thank you son. That was the big reason I was going to have to shut the school down. Now, with them out of the way, I may be able to take care of the minor things and keep the school running!" Kevin jumped for joy. Oh how he loved hearing that.

   You see, Jesus put it in his heart to help the principle. He also followed one of Jesus' commandments John 13:34 "....Love one another;"

    Kevin's school has around four-hundred students, if the school closed, all those children would either have to move to another school, or be home schooled. Also all the teachers and Principal would be out of a job. Instead, thanks to Kevin, the school is going to be up and running for quite a long time.

    After Kevin graduated, and the school principle retired. He became the principle, and he made sure that he kept a good eye on everything around the school.
