Fear, rushing through their bones
Tears, raining down their faces
They are buried under destroyed homes
As she finds her child and embraces
Dead they are, more than living
Displaced, tortured they are oppressed
Cries of agony and despair as they are mourning
Mothers and fathers looking for their young, distressed
Loss of life loss of hope
Their cry is loud but no one wants it to be heard
With this war, how can they cope
Vision from tears is blurred
Starved with no way out, surrounded
Impossible it is to stay secure
From all directions they are bombarded
How much more can they endure
Blood and scattered bodies
Faith is all that's remaining
Who can stop these atrocities
Until we start to care blood will continue pouring
