I stood up, along with Siva and Samantha, and followed them out of the room. We made our way to the lab near the loading ramp. I went down the stairs and grabbed a computer. "I work better in silence, so I'll see you guys later."
"Okay, make sure to shout if you need anything," Siva called, waving me off. I went back up the stairs and placed the computer on the balcony; then ran back down and grabbed a power adapter. I went back upstairs, plugged it into the socket on the wall and the computer; then sat down on the floor and turned it on. Once it was loaded; I went onto my own hacking program and attempted to hack into the cameras throughout the Luton airport. I typed the first code I knew and it failed. I repeatedly tried different codes for an hour until I felt dead. I got up, hearing my knees crack as I did so, and made my way downstairs. I shuffled across the floor, ducking past the punch bag, to the coffee machine. I made a cup; then went into the lab to see what Siva and Sam were doing.
"Any luck?" Sam asked. I shook my head. "You'll get in soon, don't worry," she smiled.
"What've you been doing?" I asked.
"Setting up a recording system so we can have all of the videos on file when you manage to get in and if Jay goes through," Siva replied.
I nodded. "Sounds cool, but I have a computer and hacking system I need to attend to." They waved as I walked out and back up the stairs.
I attempted to hack the security system three more times, and on the third I got in. The picture of an empty terminal came into view. I jumped up and started running down the stairs with the computer, pulling the cable out of it in the process. I ran down the stairs, into the lab and plonked the computer down on the table. "Alex, you're in!" Samantha exclaimed. I grinned at her. "I'm so proud of you!" She laughed.
"Thanks," I grinned. "I am a hacker, so it should have been easy, but it wasn't."
"You seemed all stressed when you first came down," Siva laughed. "But well done; you've done us proud."

Siva watched the screen intently; his eyes hadn't come off it since we had called Max down twenty minutes ago. I wasn't sure if he was just sleeping, or if he was hoping to see something that the rest of us wouldn't. I looked over at Max who had his head on the table, turned towards me. He smiled when he noticed me looking at him. I smiled back. There was a crash, startling me, so I spun round to the door. A frightened Nathan stood there. I looked back and saw that we had all turned to stare at him. I turned back and his expression had changed; he was now looking very smug. "So, Jay boarded a plane to Paris about half an hour ago," he told us. There was a groan from Siva. "Just missed him?" Nathan chuckled.
"Yes, by about two minutes," I sighed.
"Sorry, but at least we know he has gone to Paris. We can track him down easily there," Nathan said, trying to raise our hopes.
"So, we need to get to Paris, find out where he's staying, why he's there and what he's going to be doing there," Max explained. "Alex, you're in charge of finding out where he's staying, Nathan, what he's doing, Kaneswaran Flesch; you alright with finding out why he's there?"
"Of course we are," Samantha replied.
Max nodded. "Good. Now let's get a move on. I'll tell Lucia to reroute us to Paris."
