How To Become A Vampire

Attack a cult of vampires. Contract Sanguine Vampiris and in three days.... BADA BING BADA BOOM. Vamp. You have to at least be level 9.

(Spoilers ahead)

When you are sent on your second (I think second) quest for the Dawnguard (Level 9 is when it is introduced) you are sent to a cave to wipe the vampires out.

While delving deeper I to that cave, you may contract Sanguine Vampiris (I think that's what it is called...I wouldn't know for sure because I'm a were-cat and I'm 100% resistant to disease) unless you make it through. After solving a puzzle, a case is opened and a woman with an Elder Scroll steps out.

Turns out she's a vampire as well. And the daughter of the Vampire Lord Harkon.

And she brings you home.

To a castle full of vamps 👍

Harkon wants to reward you for returning his daughter and the Elder Scroll. He gives you two choices:

A) Become A Vampire Lord

B) Stay Normal And Be Booted From Castle Volkihar

If you are a werewolf, Harkon's bite will overpower your beast blood.

CAUTION: If you want to stay a beast DO NOT ACCEPT. I have not tested out whether to become vampire and return to beast. I have no clue what happens. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU CAN RETURN.
