Kate Cross and Tom Holland SPLIT

After over a year of being together, filming two movie productions as co-stars in between, Kate Cross and Tom Holland have finally called things quits.

And for Katy, in the worst way possible! Inside sources revealed that the two split just a few days after Cross' birthday! A close friend to Cross, explained the whole situation to us, reporting, "We had a huge party planned for Kate's 20th. Everyone she loved was there; including her parents, her fellow Teen Wolf and Marvel cast mates, and other good friends; everyone made an appearance except Tom. She was really disappointed he didn't show." When asked why Holland didn't make an appearance, Cross' friend said they had no clue, and that Kate had been pretty closed off afterwards.

Their relationship had started just before filming for their roles in Captain America: Civil War, where Kate was casted for her role as Anastasia Michael/Mystic Fatale, and Tom was casted for his role as Peter Parker aka Spiderman. Everyone was rooting for their characters' chemistry in the movie, but they were also supporting Cross and Holland in real life!

The two were extremely close, becoming best friends before a couple, and pulling at everyone's heartstrings. Shortly after the premiere of Captain America and revealing their relationship to the whole world, Kate was casted for the same role as Mystic Fatale in Spiderman: Homecoming, where Tom was also continuing on with his character.

But after filming had ended, the two seemed to go their separate ways. Kate's character, Elizabeth McCall, on the MTV hit show, Teen Wolf, had come to somber end as the show came to a close with their sixth season being their last. But that wasn't the end to Kate's acting career, as she continued on with her superhero character, making multiple guest appearances on Marvel's show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tom had also been quite successful after the premiere of Captain America, with not one, but TWO more movies releasing in the year of 2016. His role as Bradley in the suspenseful Edge of Winter film with Joel Kinnaman and Percy Hynes White as his co-stars, and as Jack Fawcett in The Lost City of Z, with Robert Pattinson and Benedict Cumberbatch.

It has not been revealed exactly what caused the two to break up, but we suspect it to be the busy schedules and long distance between the two, being as Cross currently resides in Los Angeles, while Holland still calls the UK home. We sure will miss our favorite couple, though, and we hope the best for the both of them with their careers.
