High school fucking sucks, but at least I've got my buddy Brent with me to keep me going.
Brent and I have been friends for awhile, which is a good thing because without each other we'd both have no one. Being the "nerdy kids" isn't exactly the best title here at Palo Verde High School.
To be honest, I don't know where my life is going. Brent and I have always wanted to be in a band, but having two people in a band is awfully hard. Especially when all Brent can play is Bass Guitar. I can play a whole bunch of stuff, and sing, but even then, that's like having a one man band plus a bassist.
It doesn't even matter though, because that'll never happen. We're just stuck being ordinary like everyone else in this school. And honestly, I don't know if that'll ever change.

High school isn't so bad, especially with my best friend Spencer by my side.
Here at Bishop Gorman, I may not exactly be the most popular kid, but I've got a good amount of friends who are all very nice and loyal, so that's enough for me. However, none of them compare to Spencer.
Spencer and I have known each other for as long as I can remember, and we've both always had the same passion; to be in a band.
We've done more than just let that passion be a thought though, we've put it to action multiple times.
When we were younger, we started our own two-man band called Pet Salamander. Though we didn't write our own songs, we did lots of song covers, especially songs by Blink 182.
When I was 14, I had started writing my own song lyrics, and now I'm in a band called Panic! at the Disco. It consists of me singing and Spencer on drums. However, we also have our friend Trevor Howell on guitar. We also have our friend from the neighboring high school, Brent Wilson, on Bass Guitar. This is our band, and I can't wait to see what we can pull off.
