Me-"Mom, we can't move. All my friends are in Connecticut, and my old boyfriend."
Mom-"We're already driving, and I promise, you are going to make so many friends in Virginia. Also, Jessica, if going to take care of you."
We arrive at our new house a few hours later and we set up furniture. We go shopping for food at the grocery store. I go to look for things for me.
Mom-"Be careful."
I walked away, I was on my phone, when I bumped into someone. We both fell down.
Me-"Oh, oh, I'm so sorry."
Him-"No, it's okay."
He got up and took my hand.
Him-"Oh, my name is Jacob."
Me-"Okay, thanks Jacob, but I need to go get food."
Jacob-"Wait, I can help you."
Me-"Okay. Follow me."
He followed me around the store.
Jacob-"We barely even talked, is it okay if we can talk a bit?"
I answered questions he asked me and he answered questions I asked him.
Me-"Well, I probably need to go back to my family now, so bye."
Jacob-"Wait..."
He asked me for my phone number.
Me-"Don't you think it's too soon?"
He looked sad.
Jacob-"Okay, next time we see each other then."
I went back to where my mom and my sister were, and we headed back home. I regret what I just did, I couldn't stop thinking of Jacob_
