Under the cover of darkness, a mother runs across the moonlit field. She scurries behind a large rock to hide, the large tree standing tall nearby diminishes light from two moons.
Where is he? He told me he would be here...
Hearing the beating of large wings she ducks into the darkness between the tree and the rock.
"Teresa, come out."
"Jason thank goodness it's you." Teresa walks quickly over to her husband.
"We don't have much time Teresa, they are already suspicious of me." Jason's voice comes out tired and hinted with fear.
"Take her Jason, I would only slow you down."
"Teresa you know I can carry you."
"But we will be spotted before we can reach the forest if I come."
"No, I'm not leaving you here."
"There's no time you need to go."
"But-"
"No, you need to go, I can stay hidden in the shadows."
"Why do you have to be right?" Jason moves forward to take the small child.
"Jason I love you."
"I'll come back for you, I promise." Jason gently takes the sleeping baby and kisses his wife on the forehead.
As his dark silhouette becomes a dot in the distance the mother hides between the rock and the tree.
Goodbye Jason. A moonlit tear rolls down her cheek.
Behind her a faintly shining blade finds its target in the back of the condemned mother.
As she falls to the ground with a sickening thud, the shadow behind her sheaths the blade and pulls out a contact device.
"The Dragonheart has been carried away into the forest."
