Cater to You

She was stressed. Completely. They're in front of a huge crowd and he's singing to her. Again. But this time it was different.

Why is he doing this? Why did he change the song? And more importantly, why are Paeng and Benj here?

"I got your slippers, your dinner, your dessert and so much more. Anything you want just let me cater to you... It comes from the heart, nothing can tear us apart, I got your slippers, your dinner, your dessert and so much more..." He sweetly crooned and smiled at her.

What are you trying to do James? Nadine thought.

She tried to sing-a-long. It's so difficult. She's going to cry. No, no, no. But cry because... Of the moment? Confusion? The uncomfortable stirring feeling in her gut and her heart that she's been desperately trying to squash down? What is it?

OMG she's on television. She can't give anything away. She might look like she needs to go to the loo, weird face and all. Close your eyes take a deep breath and smile. She needed to gather her thoughts and pull herself together.

This is not the place nor time for this. She heard the crowd go wild.

James held her hand. He's looking at her, she needs to look back at him. She decided to just do small peeks at him, smile, and look back at the crowd and smile wider where her eyes would crinkle on the side.

She felt him squeeze her hand. It was his signal, apparently small peeks won't do. She needs to look at him directly but she's afraid she won't be able to turn away and show more than she intends to.

Her eyes give her away.
All the time.

"I hope my eyes won't betray me," she thought. And finally...

She looked at him.

His eyes were bright, brown, and has a little bit of green in them too.

Shit.

She's screwed.

And yes, she thought.

Just like all those screaming fan girls out there... I, Nadine Lustre, have undeniably and deeply, fallen in love with you too.
