Tink Tink Tink. Goes the water trickling down the tap, which wasn't closed properly. The rustling sounds from the AC voiced out in the living room. The curtains were drawn. No light dared to peek in. Not even the lamp was turned on, in the living room. Where she was.

Her grip on the warm mug of coffee was loose, but not loose that it would fall. Skin pale as snow, eyes dull as an unsharpened knife, hair messy as a bush. That woman sat there still, only her chest falling up and down steadily from her breathing. Those lips from the woman let out a voiceless sigh.

It was just yesterday ago, she remembered it clearly like it was happening once more. Every second of it. Happening over again.

That beeping sounds from the machine. That zig zag line on the monitor. That pale skin and dead eyes he had at the moment, it was torturous to even look at him. But imagine what she had to go through. Her hand held tightly onto his. Her shaking breaths, tears streaming down her face with her mascara running down with it.

Then finally, that long monotoned beep from the machine. He was gone. But all he left with her, was a box where he poured his heart into.

It was just right there, right in front of her. The woman's dull eyes moved up to that box. It was just a jet black coloured box but beautifully wrapped with a single long white ribbon, with a note clipped onto it. Open when you...

The slim hand reached for it and unwrapped the ribbon, letting it slowly slip down to the ground. The first thing she saw was envelopes. Many of them. She simply took out an envelope and read what was on it. Open when you, feel sad.

Perfect timing.

Slipping out the piece of paper inside the white envelope, it read:Hey. I don't know why you are feeling down. I'm sorry I can't be there for you. But, look at the other side of the fence. Everything is greener. Even when I'm gone, I would hate for you to feel what you are feeling now. If I am still there, I would do the usual. Hug you till you feel better, sing you till you feel happier. Love you, until you feel loved.But. Do you still remember? The first time, you were sad when we got together? I was devastated, I didn't know what I had to do. I just goofed up, and end up making you laugh. That was one of the happiest moments I had in my life. Your laugh is everything to me. Keep smiling. Keep laughing. I love you.

That was the first envelope. It was like he knew. Of course, he knew. He was her beloved after all.Months later, she still felt lonely, cold... Dead. But of course, no surprise here! He had an envelope for that as well. He had an envelope for everything, he knew what she was going through.Like: Open when you, feel isolated. Open when you, feel angry. All of them ended with an I love you. But, most importantly.

Open when you, miss me.

That was the one she loved most. She could feel his warmth around her. That hug she always gets, when she arrives home after work. The lingering kiss on the forehead. The warm smile he had. His gentle touch. His melodic voice. She could feel and hear it all. Like he was still right next to her. Like he was still there with her. Living his life. Doing what he loves with her.

All that was gone. No more warmth. No more hugs. No more kisses. No more smiles.

But all of that she had mentioned to herself. Was all in the,Letters.
