What Happened

My best friend Alyssa saw the whole thing. She was by my side in a flash. And I burst into tears.
"Don't worry Jess. He can't see your real beauty then he's not worth it."
The clock ticked 11:00 and I'd been here a while so me and Alyssa decided to go home.
I was still crying and Alyssa opened my front door and I stepped inside. I said goodbye to Alyssa through sobs and ran upstairs. My parents must of heard me crying because they came rushing in.
"What happened?" questioned my Mum.
"Tom doesn't like me anymore"
I began to sob more. I put my head in my pillow and cried.
"Listen Sweetie if Tom can't see your true colours then he's not worth it." Chimed in my Dad.
My parents stayed with me for a while and we talked through my problem.
"Do you want to hear the story of how me and your Dad met because that was very up and down?" Asked my mum
"Ok I guess so" I said.
