Chapter 1 : Just great

"Aumiyah." You hear my best friend layla shout. She has that real Spanish accent, so it always make me laugh.
"Yes layla." I say with a giggle
"I swear half of the time you be like on another planet like yo come down from mars." She snapped. It's not that I'm ignoring her it's just that I'm really tired and have to get up early in the morning.
"I just seen that drawing and I already said that it's dope." I exclaimed. Sometimes I feel like a damn tape recorder when I speak to her. Me and her are fashion designers and she likes me to critique her work. She says I'm like the best critic. Just right now I'm exhausted.
"Look Aumiyah let's just call it a night and pick it back up in the morning, okay."
"Yeah of course bestie."
"Alright cool, and make sure your up." She said hitting my thigh as she got off of my leather sofa.
" I will." I said basically dragging myself to walk her to the door.
"Goodnight girl." She said hugging me tightly.
"Goodnight." I then released from the hug and she walked out. I then closed and locked my door. I walked over to my coffee table and put our two mugs we have drunken out of into the sink. I turn off the light in the kitchen and walk back to the living room. I rub my eyes as I look to see she had left her drawing book.
"That damn layla." I say out loud dropping the book back on my coffee table. I walked over to turn my lamp off as I yawn. I began to walk to my room and then there's a knock at the door. I stop in my tracks and think that it must be layla to come get her book. I turn my lamp back on and grab the scrap book. Sleepy I walk to the door and open it.
"Girl here you go, I swear you always leaving something." I said yawning.
"Your right and I came to get it back." Recognizing that it wasn't my best friend's voice I open my eyes to realize who it was.
"Oh , no not you." I said rolling my eyes.
"Yep me in the flesh baby, miss me."
