Her Alpha Mate

Chapter 1.

"WAKE UP RAVEN!" My mother said.

"Wha-what!? Why?" I call back, knowing very well it was a weekend and there wasn't anything planned for my day.

"JUST BECUASE ITS A WEEKEND DOESNT MEAN FOR YOU TO SLEEP IN LIKE A LAZY POTATOE!" I hear my mother yell from probably the kitchen since I smell bacon...wait, BACON!

I jump out of bed and grab my hoodie as I was running down the stairs towards the delicious smell.

Yes I know I know Im kinda in LOVE with bacon and thats the only reason why I'm out of bed.

"Just hurry up already your not the only one who absolutely LOVES bacon you know" my wolf Rose says as we make our way towards the kitchen.

When I enter I'm engulfed in the sweet greasy smell of bacon, French toast, and hash browns.

"What's the occasion mom?" I ask as I sit down at the table where my mom was setting the food down.

"Your father finally chose a beta this morning, and so, I'm congratulating him with his favorite breakfast, and I didn't forget about you of course so I made bacon." She says with a smile.

Just after she was done talking my mother got all happy eyed and started for the door, no doubt opening it for my father. See werewolves can feel when their loved one is close by or hurt, or any other emotion for that matter. That's what we call, mates.
Now I haven't found my mate yet but that's OK, I would like to wait until the right time, whenever that is.

As my mom opens the door, sure enough, in comes my dad. When he looks at my mom I see in his eyes complete adoration and love. Ok I know I said I can wait, but that doesn't mean I'm excited for when the time comes.

"Do I smell bacon?" My dad asked, and I started laughing, see this guy is the one who introduced me to the sweet yummy bacon.

"Mom made us some breakfast! Its-"

My dad cut me off by saying, "It's bacon, hash browns and French toast, I know dear I can smell it a mile away ha-ha."

He bends down and kisses my forehead and then looks at my mom and kisses her. After that we all head into the kitchen were the food is being kept.

~1 hour later~

I'm in my bedroom when I hear a knock on my door. As I'm in the process of opening it the door swings open and I'm tackled to the ground by no other then my best friend Kylie.

"What the hell Kylie! You could have just told me you were coming in. Ouch! Get off!" I yell at her.

Kylie and I have been best friends since we were little pups. Our family's were really close so it's know wonder we get along and became friends.

" haha..I'm (laughs) sorry for..(laughs more) tackling you." (Laughs like a historical hyena)
Remind me again how were friends? "Because she's weird just like you" Rose says in my mind. "True true, but hey if I'm weird your weird to cause your apart of me also." I point out to my smart ass wolf
"Whatever" and then she goes silent in my head, knowing she probably got grumpy for know reason, I let it slide.

"Anyway, what's up Kylie? You seem excited about something?" I ask as I get up off the floor and sit back on my bed. Kylies eyes went wide like she just remembered why she came here and attacked me.

"That's right! I found my mate!! Oh my gosh he's so handsome! And the best part is, well the best part is all of him but I mean the cool part is, he's the new beta your dad chose!"

I look at her for a while trying to register everything she just told me, so when I finally answered her I said, "THATS AMAZING! CONGRATULATIONS KYLIE"

"Thanks! I'm gonna go now, I've kept him waiting long enough, I'll talk to you later Rave!" She says as she's walking out the door. I hear my dad down stairs congratulating her for finding her mate and being the female beta.

"Hmm, I wonder what my mate will look like?" I say out loud to know one in particular as I lay back down in my bed and take a 2 hour nap.
