"RUN!!!" Zex yelled as he shielded Arc and Lin, "GET TO THE BUNKER!!"
"Arc what is happening? Who are those people?"
"Lin now is not the time or the place just get inside if you value your life." Arc pushed Lin towards the door of the cement bunker then shut the steel door behind them.
"What about Zex? We can't just leave him out there. He is outnumbered seven to one." Lin starts to open the door. Before she can Arc slams it shut once more and locks it.
"No. Lin trust me Zex will be fine. He wanted to make sure we were safe so he could let loose without having to worry about either of us hurting when he starts fighting."
"I know that I have only known the both of you for a month, but there is no way that he can take seven armed men at once."
"Just have a little faith ok. Zex can handle himself just fine. I mean he is an S class creator after all." Arc begins to look around the bunker to see if it has what they came for. "What was that thing you were looking for again Lin?"
"It's a purple metal box with a gold stripe down the middle." Lin starts looking on the other end of the bunker and moves closer to Arc. "Oh, Arc what do you mean by he's an S class creator?"
"I told you, Lin, it's, complicated. Probably best that you don't know. Let's just say it means that he can take care of himself just fine." Arc continued to look for the box, "I don't see anything like that over here. Are you having any luck?"
"No. Nothing over here either. I really thought it was here? Where could it be?" Lin stars to move everything off the shelves in hopes that the box was placed behind the food and supplies.
"Don't worry Lin we will find it. Maybe you left it at a different safe house?" Arc suggested as he took a seat on one of the bunks at the back of the bunker. "When we met, you did tell us that you have been running for four months so it is possible you forgot what safe house you forgot it at."
Lin continued looking all around the cold cement room, "I know that there is a chance it is somewhere else, but I was really hoping it was here. This is the third bunker we have checked and every time we stop to check one, I slow you two down. I just wanted it to be here so you and Zex can get back to... Why were you two wandering the countryside?."
"Don't worry about it." Arc smiled at Lin, "Remember I gave you my word that I would help you find this box and until we find it Zex and I will protect you."
"Thank you, Arc. What did I do to deserve a friend like..." Lin stopped talking.
"Lin are you ok?" Arc stood up and began walking towards Lin.
"Finally, I found it." Lin lifted a box out from under a pile of medical supplies.
"That's great! So now that you found it, can you tell me what is in it?" Arc stopped behind Lin who is still hunched over the box.
"I will do you one better. I will show you." Lin began to turn around.
"Ok. Great so what is...", before Arc could finish Lin stabbed him through the heart. "Aaww!!" Arc drops to his hands and knees and starts spitting up blood.
"It's a special delivery from the facility. One of your scientists made an interesting discovery. According to them, the blade's metal is called Osmiddite, it nullifies the healing ability of you monsters. Not even an S classes' regenerative ability can heal them in time to stop the bleeding before it's too late."
Arc gets to his knees, still on the ground, holding the knife sticking out of his chest, "How could you do this I thought we were friends. I thought..."
