They walk down the hall into the kitchen to find Tom fixing dinner.
Mia: hey Dad! You mind if we have one more person over?
Tom: who?
Mia: and Alex will answer that question!
Alex: my kid wants to know if she can come over. She's my adopted kid by the way. Soo what do you say choo choo?
Tom: Fine. How old is she?
Alex: she's 5.
Tom: is she a troublemaker
Alex: let's just say she's like me
Tom: oh Lord help us all
(Chuckles.)
Mia: Okay quick question. How was your mom okay with Isabella?
Alex: uh she wasn't I was grounded for a week
Mia: heh. It's... 7:11.
You told me your mom left at about six and would get here about 7.
Alex: well we live in a hotel downtown so.
The door bell rings And Mia was excited she hadn't seen Jenny in awhile.
Mia opens the door.
Mia: JENNY! Hey {hugs her tightly}
Jennifer: hey. Bella come here.
Where's Thomas?
Tom: right here and don't worry I knew she was coming. They explained about 1 minute before you got here really.
Bella: where's daddy?
Tom: in the kitchen.
Alex:{walks up to Isabella and picks her up} Hey tiny. I've only been gone since this morning you miss me already.
Bella: may be
Alex: Thanks mom love you.
Jennifer: love you to. Bye Bella
{Hugs Mia again and whispers} still causing mischief?
Mia: haha maybe
Jennifer: bye Tom! See all of you later?
All: bye!
Jenny leaves and Isabella, Mia,and Alex go back into the gaming room.
Mia: hey. Im-
Bella: Mia!
Mia: oh so you talk about me?
{Says jokingly}
Alex: maaybe..
Mia: all hail the Word of the day maybe.
Mia: Hey Izzy. Can I call you that?
Bella: can I call you Mi Mi?
Mia: deal. You want to make your nails pretty?
Bella: {claps her hands and giggles} yay!
Mia: let's go!

Alex walks into one of the guest rooms and finds the girls painting there toes.
Alex: What cha doin.
Mia: Painting with my new best friend
Alex: I'm hurt!
Mia: whatever
Alex chuckles and walks in the kitchen to see Tom making the plates. Alex walks over to the counter and sits on it
Alex: I've been replaced by a five year
Tom: hahhaha I heard. Wanna help?
Alex: sure!
Tom: how's you leg?
Alex: it's okay.
{Puts one of the plates on the other side of him}
Tom: sooo. You and Mia..
Alex: me and Mia what? Hah that sounds funny
Tom: Do you like Mia
Alex:uh personal question much
Tom: you like mia! I'm gonna go tell her
Alex: you tell her, you die
Tom: oh so you do like her
Alex: *gasp* Thomas you sly dog!
Tom: heh don't worry I won't tell anyone.
Alex: your the best
Tom: I know. Go bring the girls their plates it's getting really late.
Alex: no problem Choo choo
