Highschool. That's all that was on Paperjam's mind that morning. Things happened with him in the past, and he didn't really have any friends. He was usually made fun of for being smaller and different from most other monsters. Though this had happened, Paperjam knew that things could change. He believed anyone could change.
"Jammy, are you up?" asked Ink from behind the bedroom door. "Hurry up, you have to go, and I want to talk to you before you leave."
"I'm almost dressed, Mommy!" Paperjam replied with excitement.
When Paperjam got downstairs, ready to leave for school, Ink talked to him for a minute first. "Jammy," he started, "now this is going to be a big change for you. Be careful, because there are still those mean people out there like before, and there are also some-" he hesitated for a minute,"others. So be careful, please."
"Don't worry Mommy," Paperjam replied, still as excited as ever, "I will, I promise!"
"Okay, sweetie, you better get going." He kissed Paperjam on the cheek. "I love you, my Jammy."
"I love you too, Mommy!"
And with that, Paperjam's new adventure began.
