"Stay with me, Mynah,"
Everything was numb. I knew what was happening, but it felt like a Monday morning. When you wake up early and you're well aware that the clock is ticking, but you don't get up because your body does not want to, even when your brain is saying otherwise. It was just like that. I can hear the helicopter fan, the ambulance, the lady- everything. I can hear everything, but I can't feel anything. I know they're lifting up my body to a stretcher, and possibly rushing me to a hospital. All I know for certain is that I won't survive this.
"Mynah, You're gonna be okay. Just stay with me, sweetie," the lady reassured me as the warm air of the ambulance began to spread throughout my body. It was thawing my frozen self. And then, little by little, a monstrous pain enveloped my whole body. It felt like Mayweather and Pacquiao teamed up and made me their punching bag.
PUNCH.
My left forearm bone was sticking out and is digging into my broken ribs.
PUNCH.
My thighs felt like they were being skinned.
PUNCH.
My belly.
PUNCH.
I tried to move my right hand to the top of my belly.
PUNCH.
My baby.
PUNCH.
I lost my baby.
