She's...beautiful Jade thought to herself. She knows she probably looks like a creep right now, starring at her but honestly, it has become really hard not to these past few months.

The thing is, Jade's an angel. You see, it's not common for angels to watch over only one person. They can't go on earth either, unless He send them there. Jade's never been there, on earth. She's 19. That means she can't go on earth just yet. She has to wait until she's 20. Then, and only then, she could go down there. Angels don't age anymore when they reach their 20th birthday unless they sin and are exiled down on earth.

Perrie, the girl she has been observing for over 2 years now, fascinates Jade. Don't get her wrong, all humans fascinate her but there's just something more about Perrie. She just wants to hold her, hide her from the whole world. She just wants to kiss h-

"Jade!"

Jade turns her head recognizing who the voice belongs to.

"Are you drooling over that girl again?", Jesy asked. Jade rolls her eyes. "I'm not drooling, I'm observing. And aren't you supposed to be on earth right now? I thought He sent you there for a "special mission"."

"Right. And not anymore, He sent Alec because apparently I'm not qualified enough for that mission. I'm so done with Alec stealing all my missions. Plus each time he steals one of MY mission, he has that smirk on his face." Jesy says while making a disgusted face.

"Technically it's not stealing if He give it to Alec instead of you." Jade states while laughing. Upon seeing Jesy's pout, Jade hugs her. "Aw, c'mon don't be mad that your boyfriend steals all your missions." Jade teases while walking away.

"He is not my boyfriend." Jesy mumbles, following Jade. "Besides, I have my eyes on somebody else."

Jade's eyes widened. "Wait WHAT? Who? When? How?" Jesy laughed. "His name is Jake and he's really nice."

"Wait. Jake as in Jake Roche?" Jade questioned. "Yeah, why?" "You know he has a girlfriend, right?"

"I didn't say I wanted to date him, you doofus. It's just a little crush. That's all." Jesy replied.

Jade smiled, thinking about the 'little crush' she had on Perrie 2 years ago before realizing that it was far more than that. "You know, it was like that for me with Perrie too and look where I am now." Jade voiced. "Speaking of which, I should get back to watching over her." Jesy shook her head. "You can't do that forever Jade. Being with a human is impossible for us, you're wasting your time."

Jade frowned. "That is not true. Nephilims exist Jesy, they are real. Angels can be with humans."

"That was a long time ago and He didn't approve of it." Jesy said in a serious tone. "Jade, please, don't make any mistakes you'll regret. I don't want my bestfriend to be a fallen angel."

Jade frowned and looked up at Jesy thinking that watching over Perrie and keeping her safe wouldn't cause her any trouble.

Jade didn't know at that moment that Perrie would be the cause of her losing everything.
