Rumored Project Part 2

Hi lovelies!! I hope everyone is well and wonderful! Also Jacob's character is inspired by Ansel Elgort. Makayla's character is inspired by Felicity Jones. Hannah's character is inspired by Amanda Seyfried. Zoe Warner is inspired by Taylor Swift. I couldn't get the picture up 'cause it wouldn't add. So, I thought I'd tell you guys instead. :-)

It was a normal Wednesday morning. I got up, did my routine, and went to school completely unsuspecting of any wrongs. That is until I was approached by Zoe Warner, herself.

Between second and third period, I rushed to the bathroom. Finally relieved, I ducked my hands under the running water, and washed away any germs. The sound of footsteps reached me, and I peered up in the mirror. Zoe stood there looking at me with a cold expression. I glanced over, and reached for the paper towels. I was not going to give her any reaction. Ignoring her, I stepped past her to get to Chemistry class. Only to be stopped by her statement.

"I know what you're doing, " she called after me. I slowly turned around, confused by what she meant.

" What's that? I mean I'm assuming you mean something other than simply going to class," I said irritated with whatever drama she had awaiting me. She sent a fake smile my way.

" You had Jacob, now you're through with him, and bored. So, now you're trying to slut it up with the two hottest guys here," she squinted her eyes at me. I raised my eyebrows in amusement and surprise.

" First of all, you don't know me or anything about me. Second, my relationships do not concern you. Third, are you seriously so bored with your own life you start looking into mine? My life is pretty great, but seriously get your own. Also, you shouldn't be that bored, considering you have Jacob. Unless, you're jealous, and you're mad you don't have every guys attention," I glared at her with my iciest expression. She stared back in anger. I didn't wait to hear what she had to say. I stormed out and stomped into my Chemistry class. I couldn't believe how petty she was to accuse me of being a slut, because she didn't have the two hottest guys attention. I was steaming in my chair throughout half of class, but managed to calm down, and reengage myself. I reached psychology and almost forgot the whole incident. I was pulling my notes out when my phone vibrated.

We need to talk.

I read the number and instantly knew who it was. Jacob.

About?

In person.

Ok, but I have work.

I know.

With that I sat through my last class wondering what he wanted to talk about. Was it about Zoe? Was it something simple like how he wants to be friends? Or maybe just to hang out and talk? What could it be? I was hoping that it wasn't about Zoe, but there is no telling. The bell rang bringing me back to reality. I got all my things and was again brought out of my thoughts and task at hand.

"Hey," he said.

I looked up seeing Nathan smiling.

"Hi," I continued to put my bags in one arm.

"Uh here," he grabbed my bags with ease.

"Thanks, but you don't have to do that if you don't want to," I said.

He smiled and replied.

"Who said I didn't want to? " he said rhetorically.

"I don't know. Maybe it's me, but I'm pretty sure guys don't actually like being the gentleman, and stuff like that, " I continued walking.

"What makes you think that? " he asked.

"Well I mean do you ever look around, and see people doing gestures like that anymore? People are to busy with what they want to do nowadays. It might not be personal with every person they pass, but humanity doesn't care anymore, " I thought aloud.

" Is that what you think of me? " he asked.

"No I-I didn't mean every single person is like that, or that you more specifically are like th-," I rambled.

"I'm kidding, " he interupted while smiling. I smiled back.

"Hey, listen, some Zoe came up to me, and said to be careful around you," he said looking at me for answers.

"Oh, God. She- I don't know- she hates me I guess. I promise I'm not looking to cause drama for you or anyth-," I started.

"That's why I ignored her," he replied. I felt somewhat relieved, but had one question.

"Why did you choose to ignore her, if you don't mind my asking?" I questioned.

"Well, I know your parents. Also, you don't seem like the type to be like Zoe," he replied.

"What do you mean by my parents? " I questioned further.

"They're both top lawyers in the state, and I'm sure they like a good reputation, " he reasoned.

"You're not wrong," I sighed.

"You know you're quite observent for a guy," I said. He just smiled. I noticed Jacob at my car. I continued walking until I was in front of him. Jacob didn't look directly at me, but stared past me.

"You think we could talk alone?" He asked. I turned and Nathan was standing behind me. I smiled at him. He smiled back at me and began to say something.

"Maybe we can hang out sometime, " he suggested.

"Yeah, sure," I replied.

"Great. See you later, " he waved goodbye, and left.

"Bye," I called to him.

"Are you and him together? " Jacob asked.

"No we're just friends, " I said.

"So, what did you need to talk to me about? " I asked.

"Why I left," he said.

"Look, you don't have to explain-," I started.

"Do you want to know or not?" He asked. I sighed, wondering if I really did want to know. It would be nice to know why he disappeared, but was his excuse worthy enough to listen to.

"Can we maybe talk about this Friday? Somewhere a little more private? " I asked.

"Sure. Your place?" he asked.

"Sure," I replied.

"Bye Tess," he said.

"Bye," I waved, and got in my car. I left to get in early at the restaurant. I worked a normal night except it was my night to close up. I actually like getting to close up, because it's peaceful. I get to be by myself with my thoughts, and pick the music that plays. Tonight was a good ending of the day.
