Everytime

Everytime I open my eyes

I hear my sighs

Now is another day

Another day he won't stay

Eyes as deep as the sea

I can feel it through me

His gaze as soft as cotton

He cares more than he lets on

**************************************************

Everytime I look at him, I smile

If have to I'll walk another mile

Now I take one step nearer

Tomorrow I will take another

**************************************************

Laughter as warm as the sun

I soak it as much as I can

Surrounded by your presence

I have no need of pretense

**************************************************

Like the winter chill

He makes me feel

Like the summer breeze

He makes the moment seize

**************************************************

But our everytime is already done

Because now he is gone

I'm left behind looking on

Everytime is truly done

**************************************************

There are things he didn't say

There are words I didn't say

We both see it, we both knew so well

Is this my end as it is his?

**************************************************

Only time can tell

If only I can say every time

**************************************************
