Danganronpa: Sins of Despair

Prologue

"God it's so hot out today.." I said to myself. "I regret wearing this vest on top of a long sleeved shirt"

I pat my skirt down, before reaching into the pocket to find the pure white envelope with a golden seal on it. Yes, I couldn't be mistaken, this was the Hope's Peak Seal. It's a school everyone wanted to go to, including me. My green eyes then look up at the brick building, golly gosh, it was really huge. I smiled to myself, maybe it was fate for me to be here after all.

"Well, here comes a new life..."

My long brunette hair followed behind me as I walked towards the gate of the building. Sweat was pouring down my face as I pushed the gate open. "I thought the weather said that it would be 65 degrees today not 90, oh well."

I look ahead and begin to walk towards the door of the building when I feel a wave of pain wash over me, I couldn't breathe at all. The whole world seemed to spin as I tripped, falling to the cold ground below as everything turned pitch black.

"Ugh, w-why is it..freezing?" I mumbled as my eyes fluttered open slowly. The first thing I saw was a desk.

Alarmed I sat up quickly looking around the classroom. How did I get here? Last thing I remember is..being outside. That doesn't matter now I guess, all that matters is that I'm finally here in this Academy. Looking down I saw the envelope once more, but the seal wasn't gold anymore it was black and white. I opened it up slowly and pulled a letter out;

"Dear Students,

please meet in the Gym at 8:30 sharp! Anyone late will receive a punishment so cruel it'll make your head fall off

Your Headmaster"

I looked up at the clock, my eyes widen, it was 8:25! Oh god! Oh god! I must make my way there now! I didn't dare bring the letter with me, I just left it there as I ran down the hallway, I can't be late!

I finally found the gym, I had one minute to spare too. Opening it up I saw fifthteen other students there too, their eyes just stared at me as I opened the door.

"Hey! Girly girl! You must be the last one here!" I hear a voice say, a guy made his way through the crowd of students.

He had light brown eyes, a white smile along with an alluring red crystal around his neck. "I hope that it! Because you were almost late, I wouldn't like to see anyone get hurt over being late." He lets out a hearty laugh before looking down at me, "Name's Tadashi Raiden! I'm the SHSL Hypnotist!"

"U-Um Miss, I think you're on my foot." I hear a soft voice say from behind me. I jump away to see a small girl with short sky blue hair standing there

She had a pretty kimono on it matches her pale skin very well, she gave me a silent giggle. "I surely gave you a good scare Miss!" She giggled once more before her personality turned bland once more, "My name is Chiyo Gosuto and I speak to the dead."

I bow at the two, to be polite of course. "N-Nice to meet you both!" I say, standing up straight and giving them a warming smile. "I guess it's my turn to introduce myself, I'm Kazuko Shigeko, SHSL Luckster."
