A Little Less Sixteen Candles...

I wake up put on my black t shirt dress, put on my make up and do my hair I grab my black high top converse and head out the door to go to school. Today is a very important day, I'm throwing a huge 16th birthday party with all of my friends I'm so excited!!! I handed out all of my invites to my closest friends, there was only one boy named Pete that I wasn't sure about, because he didn't really hang around my friends, but i did hang around him, was friends with him, and did go to a lot of his band's concerts. So I kinda needed to invite him, so I walked up to him today and said,

"Hey Pete, I'm having this birthday party tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come?"

He said," yeah I'll see if I can come."

"Alright sweet I'll see you tonight then."

"Yeah see you tonight Madaleine."

Then I left and went about my school day to all of my classes. I then got in my red Jeep Wrangler and drove home to take a shower and begin to get ready for my 16th birthday party. The only thing I didn't realize at the time was that this moment, tonight would change my life forever...

Pete's Pov:
Madaleine just invited me to her birthday party tonight. I want to go, but I don't know if I can go especially with my predicament that I am in, and I definitely don't want to drag her into it or worse get her hurt. No I can't think like that and I promise to myself and her that I won't get her into this drama nor will I let her get hurt by me or anyone else... I then decided for myself that I was her friend and that I was going to go to her party, now the only problem I had was that I needed to find a suit...
