They went quiet. Not able to speak to justify their actions.
He kneeled down to hold her hand for maybe the last time. She closed her eyes and tears fell down her eyes as she forced her hand to part away from his, for the very last time.
"Believe me, this is what we want." She stood up but he stopped her grabbing her arm tightly and pulling her close to him.
"This isn't what I want" with every word his grip got tighter, hurting her.
"Ek din tum inhi ankoin mein dekho ge, tumhare liye phirse pyaar. Per uss din tak mere paas bhi maat aana."
(Dialogue translation, "One day you will look into these eyes, and you will see love for you again. But until then don't come near me.")

My eyes flutter shut, results of staying awake all night. I grip my coffee tighter, hoping the feeling of the hot liquid would jolt this mind to reality. She's gone yet I can't burn out her memories. Her lips. Her eyes. Her words.
Even after so many months, I manage to wake up to nightmares of broken love. It's not understandable. I have love right beside me but I can't love. I can't say anything to anyone because dreams will be shattered one by one.
