"Elizabeth? Your teacher called."
Oh god. She called
My foster mom?! What the hell!
"I dont need to talk to someone. Im fine. I swear."
"Your not. Your really not."
"Mom! Im fine!" My voice filled with anger.
"Calm down. You need to talk to someone."
"I am talking to someone! So please get
Off my back!"
"Who Elizabeth?"
"Josh."
"HE ISN'T A PROFESSIONAL!" She screamed as i walked up stairs.
"But it means something to me." I whisper .
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Ill be back around ten, mom" i yelled up the stairs to her.
"Okay. But no later then that."
I open the door and standing in front of me was josh, about to knock.
I laughed a little "hi"
"Ha hi"
We started walking to the park in central Ohio.
"I know that you haven't been here for awhile. So where'd you live before here?"
"My parents and i lived in Cincinnati. So it wasn't such a long move." I smiled at him.
" i know i shouldn't ask..." Josh scooted closer.
"My parents?" I looked in his sparkling eyes "plane crash"
"Oh... Im sorry." Josh wrapped his arm around me as we sat near the park lake.
"Its alright."
"Josh?"
"Elizabeth?"
"Why me?" I ask. All scared because i know I'm not good enough.
"Because. Your beautiful, nice, smart, and i know where you are, and i know how much it hurts. And i want to be the one who's by your side. I really like you Elizabeth. I really do."
"Josh" i blushed "i really like you too" Josh began to smile that beautiful smile that made me shiver in love. 'Mhm. I think I've fallen hard. Maybe he's the one to drag me out of this mess.' I thought to myself.
"Look!" I shout.
"What is it?" Josh laughed.
"FIREFLIES" i run after one.
"You act like your five." He said laughing at my awkward jumps.
"Hey! I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with a 17 year old catching fireflies!"
"Okay okay" josh ran in the other direction chasing another.
