When they reached the fork, Elizabeth would begin to speak up about the hand thing, but a few pissed off shouts echoed from the left tunnel. Elizabeth and Kyoski could tell it was Garrett, and the two of them began to make their way down the tunnel. Kyoski finally managed to let go of Elizabeth, from what, Elizabeth didn't know. When they reached the other two, Sayeko had given himself a bit of distance between Garrett and himself. Garrett was near the end closest to the fork, seeming to want to head back. Sayeko on the other hand wanted to go in deeper. Kyoski ran up to his brother, leaving Elizabeth behind to watch.

When Kyoski let go of Elizabeth's hand, it remained warm, as if his hand was still there. Garrett then began to argue again, this time Kyoski was joining in. Then the shouting got to an extreme level where Elizabeth thought that the support beams may cave in. She would step in, yelling louder than the three. "QUIET!! Now, someone please tell me what is all the fuss about?" Sayeko stepped up, beginning to speak, but Garrett interrupted him. "This kid obviously doesn't know how to listen when I say I wanted to turn back!"

Sayeko turned a little red at the insult, raising his voice. "I'll have you know that I am not a kid and that this expedition was to go into the mountain, not sit here in one of the many tunnels and argue!" Elizabeth nodded, shutting Garrett up from any future outbursts. "And you're quite right, Sayeko. There is no point in arguing. Now you're going to behave like a good boy and follow the three of us down this tunnel until we find what we came here for."

Garrett would begin to retaliate, but would keep his mouth shut as his face turned all red too. Elizabeth then approached the two brothers, an apologetic smile on her face. "I am terribly sorry for yelling, but you did have a point." Sayeko blushed a little, looking up at his brother. "Don't worry about it, Miss Shadowgear." A slight awkward silence followed, Elizabeth slightly clapping her hands. "Well, shall we head down the rest of the way. I suppose Kyoski can tell you what he found, for he was the one really looking the most."

Kyoski was the one to blush lightly now, looking down a bit. Elizabeth began walking down a bit, Garrett quickly catching up to her. With a little bit of his brother's help, Kyoski snapped back into reality. The two brothers would take the lead, Garrett and Elizabeth following a bit after.

Something was a bit off about the first tunnel. What Elizabeth remembered about her journey down the other tunnel, was that about where they were now, she was starting to feel a major temperature drop. Sayeko and Kyoski focused on the two walls on either side of them, skimming them up and down as they kept a steady pace with one another. The tunnel seemed to go on for what seemed like miles. Boredom soon quickly came over everyone, starting with Garrett.

The boring phase would quickly pass, both brothers abruptly stopping. Elizabeth would stop, but Garrett wouldn't notice and would trip over Sayeko. Both would fall to the ground, Sayeko landing on Garrett. Elizabeth helped Sayeko up, noticing his worried expression. Garrett leaned up against the wall, sliding up to help himself onto his feet. A very tiny clicking noise went off, both Sayeko and Kyoski staring at Garrett in horror. He would get all defensive, pushing himself off the wall.

A few feet away, the floor would begin to give out, it quickly approaching the four. Elizabeth began to push everyone down the tunnel. "Run for your lives!" Kyoski dashed down the hall, helping his little brother keep up. Garrett and Elizabeth ran as fast as they could too, Elizabeth out-running Garrett by a little bit. The floor kept falling as it got closer and closer to the group. Garrett would lag even more, the collapsing floor at his heels. He jumped, snagging onto Sayeko's shirt.

Garrett would fall down first, enclosing Sayeko into his arms as the two of them plummeted to the bottom. The remaining two kept running, the floor eventually stopping at some point. When the floor stopped falling, they stopped running. Kyoski fell to his knees near the edge, tears streaming down his face. "Sayeko!! Sayeko..!" He would yell for his brother over and over again, hoping to hear any sign of his survival.

Elizabeth lay against the wall opposite the side Kyoski was, watching him with blurry vision. Both from tears and the heat gathering in her head, causing her glasses to get foggy no matter what. After several minutes of crying over the mystery of his brother, Kyoski began to dig into his bag. He would soon dig out a gun, aiming it at Elizabeth. She would inch away, holding her hands up in defense. Kyoski put the gun into position, his eyes seeming to turn into a crimson color. "This is all your fault! If you hadn't met Garrett, he wouldn't be here and Sayeko wouldn't be down there! My baby brother could be dead in a strangers arms!"

Kyoski would begin to sway towards Elizabeth, his grip on the gun loosening. Tears of anger streamed down his face as he dropped the gun. Kyoski would mumble something about his brother, losing consciousness. He would collapse onto the floor, Elizabeth confused about what went on just then. The confusion left her as concern and protectiveness took over.

Elizabeth put Kyoski's head in her lap, getting a little more comfortable. After a while, she began to hum, brushing the black hair out of Kyoski's face. She continued to hum song after song, eventually feeling calm herself. She would pass out a bit, leaving her hand on Kyoski's head.
