Silence [The Walking Dead]

The Beggining

Hell is how I describe it....
The start of the "end of the world" ..Everyone and their grandmas were happy and walking around like life was good... Well most people but some... Some just waited to die. Then "it" spread around... The virus... The flu... Whatever people called it... It killed.. Well that was what they thought. Less than 24 hours after death the bodies reanimated and would rip apart and eat the flesh of their loved ones and other people. Military came in, locked everything down after a month. Not long later they had the order to bomb states. Kill citizens.

Everyone got scared. It was protocol. I was in the U.S armed forces when it all went to hell. The names Goodwin by the way.. Kaspar Goodwin.. Or who I was before all this chaos.
Anyway!! Let's start the story shall we!

1 1/2 years earlier

"Hey Alice! You okay?..." I said when entering the base. "Oh... Hiya Kas I'm okay! You?" Alice replied. "Yeah I'm good... Stressed after all this chaos having all the recruits here!" I moaned! "Tell me about it... All they do is moan! They have no idea what they got there selves into!" She agreed. A face appeared in between them! "Hey guys what's going on!" A young boy with a shaved baby face said happily! "Oh look it's the rookie! What's the matter Jordan?" They both moaned! "Well I just came to say hi is all... What's up? Oh yeah you two having alone time... Ooo la la! I'm off! ADIOS cry babies!" He ran off smugly! "SAY THAT AGAIN AND ILL PUT YOU DOWN DICKWAD!" I shouted angrily.... "Hey... Alice maybe... When we get out of training we can go to dinner?... " I asked shyly...
Alice walked up and kissed him on the cheek... Her face was amazing... Beautiful brown hair that was short but beautiful! She had light blue eyes and a pale, narrow face! She looked beautiful like ever! "Yeah... I'd like that..." She blushed... They leaned in slowly... A smooth quick kiss followed. Again they leaned in faster... As they kissed... *BUZZ* HEY YOU GUYS BETTER GET TO HQ RIGHT NOW! WE HAVE A SITUATION! BRIEF YOU WHEN YOU ARE HERE! OVER! "Over" I  replied!
"This seems major" she said nervously...

HQ 12:18 Atlanta

"We have a major situation.... We need all forces locking down quarantine in the city! A disease is breaking out and people are going crazy.... Some strange shit man.... People are eating people... Best hint is get out of the States  and find a safe place!" The sergeant told them...

We looked at each other nervously...

Shots go off outside
"WHAT THE HELL!" I screamed
