Chapter One

This isn't your normal story. There's no pretty rainbows, happy ending, or hero's rising to the occasion. This is life, my life and in my life you learn things the hard way and don't get given things, you work for them and hard too. And don't go easy on anyone else. Trust and be trusted is not a thing. When you trust someone it's a great feeling like a 30-year-old, strong tree in the summer. Love and be loved, maybe. Some people love to easy, and some don't love at all.

This story is not going to be sad, but if you can't handle hard times and real life problems then put down this paper and walk away because you asked me to write about my life and I did, but my life is no princess tale...

Mrs. Patches read the introduction to my story and slid open the small, top drawer of her desk and set the paper in there carefully. It fit perfectly like a sock on your foot.

"Why did you do that," I said groaning as I was raising my head from when it was plopped on my crossed elbows on my desk.

"How could you see that without looking up at me?" Mrs. Patches was shocked and clam with her response. She studied the way I sat, I could tell she was confused.

"I herd and saw you, you act like I'm stupid"

"Hunny, you're not stupid your bangs are just in front of your eyes and your head was down that's all" She smiled a fake sweet smile at me as if I was going to laugh it off as a joke.

Mrs. Patches was in her late 20 or early 40's I can't really tell because she wore so much makeup. I think she likes the attention for the school boys who seem to bark at her whenever they saw her. Me, I look at her character and I think God gave her a pretty face so she didn't have to have a likable personality.

"Forget it, I'm out of here" I squawked at her, then picked up my backpack and then slipped the one strap over my head to my right shoulder so it hung down resting on my left hip. I ducked out the classroom 30 minutes before class ended and proceeded towards my locker to put my books away.

30-27-89 *pop* my locker opened and I plopped my foreign languages textbook onto the cheap store bought shelf I put in my locker on the first day of school. I had my school planner out to make it seem like I had a hall pass so I wouldn't get a detection for ditching class. As if I would go to it anyway.

I set some of my books on the ground behind me because they were getting heavy. When I turned around I heard a small bang and a quiet click I looked back to my locker and seen Natalie Turner leaning on my locker with her army of followers looking down at me and smiling as if they had done something everyone would have laughed at.

"Well, well, well look who we have here, if it isn't the beast" Natalie snickered as her minions laughter grew louder. I gazed up at her and she was wearing a pink cut off T-shirt with the word "Princess" written across her chest and a skirt that wasn't up to the school's dress code it was way to short.

"And if it isn't fake Barbie" I replied
"Awe beautiful" she smiled.
"No," I replied "cheep and plastic," And with that her face changed from triumphant to shocked because I said what I did. I was proud of what I said until Gretchen, Natalie's best friend spit onto my face I wiped it away with the back of my hand then running it down my pant leg to get rid of her wetness and called her a pig then she nodded her head up with a smile. Then two other girls grab me under my arms and drag me into the girl's locker room around to corner and lock the door.

"Why did you do that" I Spock as calm as I could, but was really scared and started to shake softly.

"Well some teachers and student might notice if 6 girls were chilling in the hallway by 1 locker." Gretchen said smug she looked at me puzzled then talked again "Why do you wear your hair in front of your one eye?" I began to shake even more, Gretchen reached up her hand to move my hair. I smacked her hand she pulled it back quickly I went to back away, but tripped and fell on my bottom I looked up at her and she got mad.

"I'm going to find out so you might as well show me now." Gretchen said she bit her bottom lip and stepped closer to the sink to check on her make up. She smiled and kissed the mirror leaving a mark in pink where her lips once were.

"Conceded much" I asked smugly. We were there for what seemed like forever I let out a long breath. Then an idea stuck me if I show her I can leave. I grabbed a handful of hair blocking my eye and placed it behind my ear. Instantly all 5 of the girls backed up slowly as they looked at me then ran out of the locker room screaming as I stood up. I walked over to the mirror and looked into it. I didn't know it but I seem to have started crying I noticed when a single drop of water dripped off my chin and fell into the sink. My eye is getting worse I need to go to the doctors again I thought to myself.

*RING*

The bell rang very loud and that meant it's the perfect time to leave when everyone's switching classes I can just leave

'As if anyone would know I'm gone'

I muttered to myself inside the safety of my own mind. Some freshmen started to come into the locker room, so I quickly covered my eye with my hair again and dipped out the there and made it to my locker I entered my code and opened my locker and grabbed a wallet from inside the first set of zippers in my backpack I grabbed my black jacket and put my right arm through the right arms ripped up sleeve and proceeded to inject my left arm arm into it proper sleeve. The second bell rang which meant everyone is meant to be in there classes and if the hall monitors catch you out of class it's a detention. I pull my hood over my long black hair, shoved my wallet into my pocket and snapped my head towards the exit. And began to plot my escape.
