I wasn't familiar with the concept of leaving
he left me
every wall he brought down built back up
despair and sadness bore straight through into my soul
I was vulnerable, alone, terrified
darkness enveloped me
it wasn't going to let me go
A star in the dark sky
Giving light
People look in awe
It's beautiful
He promised me
He promised he'd never go
He said he'd always be there to catch me
But I'm still falling
A fallen star
Slowly losing its light
When it hits ground it'll cause chaos and Panic
Pondering in his steps
They soon fade away
I have the memories
Burnt in through the soul
His smiles which gave a sense of security
And now I'm terrified
A broken star
Shattered into the ground
No one to pick up the pieces
The light has gone
And so has everyone else
It's lifeless
I'm empty now
I've forgotten how to breathe
He taught me to breathe
He gave me a sense to live
He's gone now
And I'll keep falling
Always falling
