I sat up groggily and yawned. I look around my cramped room and rub my eyes. I flung the covers off of me and got up off the bed and glanced at the clock. I rummaged through my drawer for something decent to wear. I walked to the bathroom, shut the door, and turned the lock with a Click! I peel my clothes off and step into the scalding hot water and sit there. I couldn't wait to get to school and see Tyler. I massage the cold shampoo into my hair and rinse it out. I do the same with the conditioner.
I stepped out of the shower and the cold air enclosed around me. I shiver, wrapping my arms around myself, lay a towel down on the floor to step on. I brushed out the knots out of my hair until it had no more knots left in it. I towel dried it until it was just barely damp. I removed my towel and grabbed my clothes I had layed out on the toilet. I pulled on my extremely tight skinny jeans I had got in Florida last year, and shrugged my favorite neon pink button up shirt on.
After I had gotten dressed and blow dried my hair, I admired myself in the mirror. If you couldn't tell already, I was trying to impress Tyler. I smoothed out my shirt and went to my closet. I had several shoes lined up against the gray wall. I picked up my black heels and turned them over in my hands a couple times. I sighed and put them on, making sure to walk around a little so I wouldn't fall and embarrass my self at school. I went through my headband drawer and pulled out a white flower bow, and clipped it into my hair. I smiled in the mirror and ran downstairs to give my mother a quick kiss before I went. She looked at me kinda funny when she saw me actually wearing something decent, but I ignored it and kissed her cheek.
"Well, don't you look cute today?" She smiled and hugged me tight.
"Uh.. I decided to try something different today. I'll see you after school, okay?" I squeezed her arm and flung my bag over my shoulder.
I opened the front door and stepped into the cool autumn air. I walked to my car, occasionally having to get my footing back when my feet wobbled. I ducked into the dodge neon and started the car, and pulled out of the driveway.
I pulled into the school parking lot. I opened my door and went to the backseat to get my bag and almost fell over when I stepped on my own foot. I expected to hit the cold concrete but instead a warm hand cauht me by the arm and steadied me. I looked up to see Tyler laughing uncontrollably.
"Hey, what's so funny?" I asked, grabbing my bag carefully. I knew I was blushing so I kept my face down.
"Oh I don't know.. You just tripped over your own foot." His voice dripped with sarcasm. He smiled again and let go of my arm.
"Haha, very funny." I nodded and rolled my eyes. I slammed my door and locked the car and walked to the front of the school with him. It was an awkward silence. He opened the door for me and I nodded as if saying "Thanks".
"So um.. I'm going to the movies Friday night and I was wondering if you wanted to come?" He looked at me, blushed, and looked away.
"Like... A date?" I blush, not looking at him. He speaks fast.
"Well only if you w-want it t-to be!" He studders. I laugh and bite my lip.
"I would love to." I grin ear to ear, hoping he doesn't notice.
"Great I'll see you there!" With a pep in his step, he walks down the hall to our first class.
I roll my eyes, still smiling like an idiot. This would be my first time going out since my 8th grade year. My heels click beneath me as I walk down the hall. I get to my class and slide into my seat next to Tyler, but he seems to be writing notes like everyone else. I try to do the same, although something Is stopping me from thinking.
I jumped when i heard the annoying bell. I waved goodbye to Tyler and we went our seperate ways, to yet another class. The one class we don't have together.
~Tyler's point of view~
I tapped my pen against my desk. I'm still wondering if she wanted it to be a date or not. I sure hope so, it was the whole point of asking her!
Maybe I should take her to my house afterwards! But then I'll sound like a creep.
"Mr. Malone?" I looked up to see Mrs. Kathy pointing her red pen directly at me.
"Sorry?" I felt the the blush creep onto my cheeks. Everyone in the class had their attention turned toward me. Some were stifling laughter.
"Your distracting the class with your tapping. I suggest you stop." She said with a stern voice. She puts the pen back down on her desk and turns back to the whiteboard with a clutter of math equations scribbled on it. I gulped and nodded, putting my pen away and sitting back in the uncomfortable seat.

I pushed my bag off my bed and forced my shoes off. I scowled at the list of chores my mom left me to do. She should know by now that I wasn't going to do them. I ran my fingers through my spiked up, blonde hair. I searched through my pocket for my phone. I had 2 messages from Paige, saying she couldn't wait until tomorrow. Maybe this was my chance to confirm if she wanted It to be a date.
"It's a date then? ;)" I respond quickly. I set the phone in front of me and long for a respond.
1 minute. 2 minutes. Ugh, will she every respond?? I knew I shouldn't have said that! I put my hand over my mouth and stare intently at the phone. Then A vibration makes it move a little on my bed. I snatch it up and check the message.
"Sure is." I breath a sigh of relief and smile to myself. A knock on my bedroom door startles me and I jump up off the bed. My mom or dad isn't home... Who is it?!
Comment! I need to know I need to improve the chapter if I made any mistakes. I haven't written in forever because I've been putting it off. Whoooops :3.
