Right, so I seem to be using the term 'graphics' and 'GFX' interchangeably, but they honestly mean the same thing. There are a couple terms that are thrown out very often that one might scratch their head for, I included when I first started doing this shit in 2012. So what? Four years. Ah, it's July second. Yep, makes it exactly four years now.
Render
It's an image cut out, having a transparent background. They have a checkerboard background if you open them up in an image editing program like Photohop, signifying it's transparent. (I made this when the images came out, and since there were no SouMako versions... I made this.)
All render end in the .png format, otherwise it would have a white background if you save it as a .JPEG. Which makes it into a
Stock
Tbh, this word seems to have two meaning...? In some situations, a stock is an image that hasn't had it's background thrown out like this.
Buuuuuuuuuuut In other situations, it refers to a background that hasn't had additional resources stacked out top of it like this.

Yea. Those two terms are the only ones you'll probably see in this entire book. Will update if I say something new worth mentioning.
