"You hear about the newbies that just came into town?"

"I heard something about it from Energetic Susan, not much, though."

"What, you went to Cleany's Diner?" My face twisted in disgust at the thought of that lowly restaurant that everyone but us Gleefuls ate at.

My sister, Mabel shrugged. "A nice boy treated me to milkshakes. The milkshakes weren't bad, actually. Pretty good. I'll take you there sometime, my treat."

"Okay, whatever, sis." I chuckled. "Who was the boy?" I asked curiously.

"I dunno, never talking to him again, though." Mabel snickered. "So, back to the newbies?" She changed the subject back to the original one.

"Yeah, well, one of them is a Pines." I smirked evilly.

"Eugh, gross." My sister Mabel said as she stepped away from the mirror, and adjusted her headband once more. "We should get into their mind!" She lights up.

"Yeah, my thoughts exactly." I cross my arms and tap my chin. "But will they come to our show?" I look over at her.

"They have to at some point." Mabel shrugs. "Everyone does."

"True." I agree.

"Do you know what the Pines kid looks like?" She asks, as she flops onto the bed, a sign of impatience for the show to begin.

"Wendy said it's a boy with hair as white as snow, and super short, a little chubby."

Mabel rolled her eyes. "Wendy? You still talk to that chick?"

"Whenever I see her, or vice versa. I mean you have to be polite to maintain a good image, sis. Not like I want to talk to her again after she rejected me." I shrug while thinking of that fated day a couple weeks ago. "And she works at the Tent of Telepathy, where the Pines are situated."

"She's totally an emo slash goth teen." She points a finger at me. "She's going to find an emo slash goth teen boyfriend that has all the same emo slash goth teen interests as her. It's how emos roll." She crosses her arms and looks at the clock.

"How would you know that?" I mumbled.

"I'm magic, bro bro." Mabel said as she pointed at a nearby lamp, which made it levitate into the air with a teal sheen floating around it. "I can get whatever info I want however I want."

"Will?" I assume that our blue triangle friend (more like slave or pet to Mabel) was feeding her this 'information' she was talking about.

"Yeah. Speaking of... WILL!" She screams, making me cover my ears, and the lamp makes a huge 'THUD' onto the nightstand it was previously sitting on, but nothing broke.

The blue pyramid appeared out of thin air.

"Y-yes, Mistress?" He stuttered.

"Is there anyone... Interesting sitting in our audience stands?" Mabel asks curiously and menacingly.

"I'll be right back, Mistress." Says Will, very frightened, and disappears into thin air.

"You should be more lenient, sis." I sigh once the pyramid vanishes.

"If you're lenient, you can't get whatever you want efficiently! Come on!" She grasps my wrist and pulls me back so I flop backwards onto her bed.

"Yeah, you're right..." I said, but I didn't think she was.

Instantly, Will reappears.

"What's the news, Will?" I ask casually.

"Wendy Corduroy and Robert Valentino are here together."

Something inside of me snaps, and I stand up, and a knife appears into my fist, and I hurl it at the blue floating pyramid.

Will shrieks (yes, Will's shriek is normal Dipper's fanboy shriek. Also, I couldn't find a short clip besides the ones that include Ford's entire life story [no, it's just the part where he introduces the journal, but who cares, I like being hyperbolically sarcastic], so enjoy an hour of screaming.),

and disappears instantly and reappears once the knife goes past him and sticks nicely into the wall behind him.

My heartbeat is racing quickly, and my breathing quickens.

Mabel puts both her arms on my shoulders and shakes me gently.

"Hey, hey, Wendy's not worth it. Come on, you have magical powers, you're good-looking, evil, every girl in town wants to date you..."

"Except Wendy."

"Why do you even like that emo goth girl? She doesn't have many great qualities. All that black clothing, extreme eyeliner, and her red hair is a huge no-no with all that black. Might as well just dye it black. It's hard to believe that girl is even related to her flannel wearing lumberjack family." She rants, exasperated.

"Mabel..." I sigh.

"And anyways, Robbie's just her friend, we don't know if they're dating." She finishes. "He's too cool and nice for Wendy."

I sighed. "I don't know, sis. I just do." I look up to Will. "Who else is here of significance?"

"One of the new kids, Pacifica Southeast is here, with her best friend, Gideon Pines–"

"PINES!!!" Mabel and I snap up and look at each other in excitement.

"Is he short, chubby, and have white hair?" I say excitedly to Will.

"Yes-"

"PINES! We need to get into his head!" Said Mabel, very excitedly.

"Kids! Showtime!" Our grunkle pops into the room, just as Will disappears again.

Mabel and I run over to Grunkle Stan and tackle him with hugs.

"Hey, hey, hey, kids, get out there and corrupt their minds!" He laughs.

"Okay, bye, Grunkle Stan!" We both say in unison and I grab my cape with my Pine tree logo (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know this doesn't make sense. I want to keep the symbols the same, though.), tie it around my neck, tuck it under my shirt collar, while running to the stage.

Mabel and I take our places in the middle of the stage and we stand back to back with each other. A line of light from the spotlight Deuce is shining onto us seeps backstage to us that shines between Mabel and I's heads, hitting the curtain behind the main curtain.

"Breathe in, breathe out. Chins up, smiles wide." We both sent the message to each other telepathically.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Mystery Shack! I hope you all have enjoyed seeing our attractions and novelties. Now, I present to you... The Mystery Twins!" Grunkle Stan's voice emits from four speakers on every corner of the room, and the main curtains pull back.
