RENT is for real, one of the greatest musicals ever composed, hands down.
but we need to talk about jonathan larson, right now, immediately.
i just watched the most tear-jerking film that i've watched all year.
it's a documentary on jonathan larson's life and the success of rent, and it's called none other than...
no day but today.
it's so wonderful and you'll undoubtedly cry, oh goodness.
jonathan larson was just such a spectacular, inspirational person...
the story of him and rent and his extremely unfortunate death is so powerful.
it really, really touched me because the way that jonathan died (an aortic rupture) is something that could happen to my brother at any moment because of my brother's heart condition, and the fact that him and jonathan are so remarkably similar is... wow.
please, go watch this documentary! it's on youtube and i would definitely recommend it ((:
